One thing I found funny about this book, is how it goes out of its way to make the secret treasury be you know secret. And how only queens know about it and stuff. Only for Lynx to mention like right after she sees Snowfall wearing jewelry...
Yeah. This book isn’t as good, but I kind of liked it. (And totally off topic) I agree with the moorhen part. The mud wings are way to underrated, seeing as how they basically did nothing in any of the books. (Besides clay) the lines they really only get are about food, or siblings.
The point is, you need to read Darkstalker Legends to understand what the heck Clearsight is doing at the ocean. After my friend borrowed book 11 she was like “Did I miss a book? Is there a 10.5 book I’m supposed to read?” So technically Darkstalker can be a required book
I thought it explained that in prologue of book 10. You don’t need to read darkstalker or dragonslayer to understand arc3 since everything you need to know about Darkstalker or Clearsight is in arc2. That said, it absolutely feels like you missed a book in that the references to legends content feel like inside jokes that you are on the outside of. Its not necessary to read them but it absolutely helps. I read the books in the order of the numbers on the cover so I read dragonslayer and darkstalker after the main series.
The thing i hate about book 14 is the fact they made peace with humans and when they started making kumbyah with humans thats when you know its time to leave
Yeah it's not like the humans started an entire war where thousands of dragons died but as soon as three of them talk everyone decided be best friends.
I don’t even want them to be friends with humans. I’m fine with a WoF world with no humans at all. I’m getting tired of humans and one of the main reasons why I like WoF is because humans aren’t important there at all. I liked the book until the dragons started being friends with the humans.

Say what you want about the book, but Qibli and Cricket both meeting Sky and his talking scavenger at the same time will always be one of my favorite moments in the entire franchise
I personally think that on its own, Dragonslayer was pretty cool. Still, I agree that having scavengers thrown into the mix of arc 3 did feel a little odd.
I thought this was the best book so far. My favourite books are still book 5 and book 13 but in terms of writing I personally quite liked this one. People are getting mad at it and dragonslayer for all the human/dragon interactions but I don’t have any problems with that. Anyways hope you enjoyed the contribution to this discussion =3.
I personally loved the book cause I could relate to Snowfall a lot cause I have really bad anxiety and imposter syndrome, so I’m biased on what I think of it lol. I can see why other people wouldn’t like it, and it’s pretty cool to see how other people think of it!

I haven’t finished dragon slayer sadly lol ( can’t find my book ) but still made perfect sense I love wren and sky is fricken adorable also I don’t see needing to read it a bad thing you need to read all the last 13 books to understand so what’s the problem with dragon slayer
Snowfall used her the gifr of stelth more than one time, she used it for her army, she used it to sneek up on her sister, and she used it to sneek up on sky. And TDG is my FAVORIT book. I relate to snowfall very easily, the only thing I didn't like was that scavengers are... *Understood* now. Like, what?! Whyyy, canslt scavengers always be the little squeeky things that dragons are fascinated with?
1:49 *the othermind's 10:04 different crown she wasn't wearing the hatred crown the entire book I like this book a lot. I think it's the best one so far. I liked Snowfall's development and the story. She is an actually good character who is always working towards peace and happiness and the good of the world like _other dragons_ She's interesting and got good development. It was also very nice to get a break from children saving the world, but if you're into that stuff, don't worry, Luna's book will probably be full of children saving the world and magic teenagers and bland, perfect characters.
This book wasn’t exactly my favorite. It has some flaws, and I also feel like snowfall changed really fast. I wanted to her slowly begin to change and feel sympathy, so we can see her progression with a clear view.
Luna's book was a little worse and better in 1 way only pineapple actually did something he venomed wasp's face and is jambu's boyfriend bullfrog's just a walking thing of bricks and just never really talks anyway
I actually quite like the book, it’s one of my favorites. I know it doesn’t have the strongest writing, but I really enjoy Snowfalls character. I also love lynx and how different she is from every other ice wing. I do see the glaring problems of course, but I understand snowfall. I have crippling anxiety disorders so I really like her character at the beginning. I guess I like her character more then the book itself
Huh. I had a completely different take away. Everything that I hated about the book could be summed up to “DRAGONSLAYER WHY” and I actually really enjoyed the gift of vision and thought it was awesome. Eh, it wasn’t the best, but I thought it was better than dragonslayer, 7, &4 tbh.

OML I’VE BEEN SCOURING FOR A REVIEW THAT ISNT ACTUALLY “I love this book!” Tui really likes adding “Ploy writing” into her books. Ploy writing (term made up for me because I couldn’t find one that fit the description.) Ploy writing being where a writer adds little ploys and things to make their story more ‘likable’ even though they are not improving the writing. Ploy writing in her books include: hybrids, forbidden relationships, cute characters, Qibli and Winter’s relations, and lgbt. (Which is pretty messed up to use as a ploy for writing.) Book 14 is RIDDLED with this. Crystal and mahoganywhatever’s relationship did nothing to the plot. Mink and Sky were in there to be cute; Daffodil was in there to try to get edgy teens to stop loving their comfort character; and SO MUCH MORE. The crossover was so manufactured and choppy, a really cliche and bad one. There was hardly any character development and the original main cast did very little. I couldn’t even finish the book it was so hard to read. I’m most likely not going to read the next one. Which makes me sad because arc 3 was going so well and was a refreshing arc. It had wonderful characters that got bashed out of any potential being a POV character. (Io and Cinnabar, which I don’t regret being mad that they weren’t POV characters in this book.) thank you for your review, and thank you for reading my rant.
@@blueberrii77 while there are faults in my comment (ew I want to rewrite it) I did not say that Willow and Sundew was a ploy- Write I was meaning Anemones’ crush on tamarin that appeared out of nowhere. I wasn’t expecting some kind of huge finale. (It’s book 14) but I was expecting Tui not having to lean so much on these tropes. I never said a diverse cast is to interest readers. The tropes have a pattern and that is what bothers me. I love new tropes but these seem to be getting very repetitive. I admit my critique looks over many things and I did want to write more. You have some points in your response but started putting some words in my mouth.
I agree with you, I've noticed alot of the characters have the same personalities and it gets very repetitive, I also dont like the idea of giving almost every dragon a lover, characters like sunny are better without one in my opinion.
I'm surprised you haven't mentioned the major plot hole with jerboa breaking animus magic. She literally could have easily found out that every single living animuses magic is constrained with her information scroll by writing tell me all of the spells of the animus dragons (except repeats or very similar spells with slight differwnce in phrasing) Turtle: Can't cast spells with selfish intent Anemone: same as turtle Stonemover: turns into a rock over time Darkstalker: not an animus anymore
While Im upset that she didnt wait to gather more info (like what you said, ask the scroll what every current animus dragon's current intents are or something) but it is _somewhat_ understandable that she'd jump to conclusions and think every animus dragon would be evil, since not only she broke free of her selfish animus mother not too long ago whos been doing all those spells on her for hundreds of years and it is logical to think that a dragon can easily turn evil with such powers But still, its a very one sided view with hole filled logic

Ya I agree. I have no problem with people disliking the book/giving criticism but I feel like people’s problems with it is that stuff changes or is the way it is because of magic when stuff has been that way the entire time this is just a more noticeable example.
Honestly I don’t really enjoy the part humans take in the WOF books, I’d rather they just don’t partake in the plot at all. But except for that I can say I LOVED book 14.
I can say that the Dangerous Gift was a good book, not as solid as the Poison Jungle, and not as bad as uh.... *unpopular opinion!* *winter turning-* *cough* I was not the biggest fan of the plot, and the majority of the book is Snowfall in other dragons, which was confusing, not bad! Mink is my child and must be protected at all costs and so must Lynx I loved the part where Wren and Sky came back in, I myself enjoying Dragonslayer I also enjoyed Qibli x Winter time, loving the duo. I'll be honest, during the whole Jerboa, Jerboa and Boa situation I was VERY confused, and at the ending with Raven and the other having information about the Breath of Evil. BUT I LOVED THE BACKSTORY. thank you for coming to my ted talk :D This comment is not a full review and, this is also my personal opinion
Lynx was easily the best part of this book, and I kind of wished she was the protagonist. And it hurts to hear you dislike book 7. But yeah, you either love it or hate it I guess.

The book didn't have a lot of action, but it was a good one and it's an *excellent filler*, like (and it's probably contreversial) the strawberry was a perfectly logic and excellent deux ex machina. You don't judge a filler the way you judge the premice or the climax.
To be honest, I think that this book could have been about Swordtail surviving on Pantala versus the Breath of Evil’s army and it would have been so much more interesting. I didn’t even finish it. Plus, Swordtail is a huge character to the plot and doesn’t even get a book of his own? Like, it’s cool that we’re touching on Snowfall’s emotions but it didn’t really feel like she had much to offer. However, back on Pantala, there’s so many things to do and explore with Swordtail. I really feel like he deserved to get this book, not Snowfall.
I think the ring was a good exposition dump device and it was handled quite well over the course of the story. If everything the ring showed was in the prologue how would Snowfall even KNOW about it, let alone be able to relay it to the party? No, she NEEDED to see it for herself. If it was just in the prologue it would have only been for the benefit of the READERS, and not the CHARACTERS! It activated at random because that's how Opal enchanted it to help the queens that needed it most. So in regards to the book's plot, while rocky I agree with you there, it was kind a necessary evil. Not only that, but not every book needs to have a climactic finale, and you said yourself that it was setting up for the final act, so a nice breath of fresh air is how I'll describe it.
Honestly I agree. I really feel like they could have changed alot of it and i loved jeraboas backstory. I feel like tui could habr executed the book a bit better
5:27 same here. After finishing the book, I was quite unsatisfied that Snowfall’s development forced by the Gift. Character development to me happens when characters do bad actions and are punished or chose the right path and are congratulated as well as characters interactions. Snowfall became quite passive after part 1, the Gift doing all the work by slapping on her head BE MORE EMPATHETIC. She doesn’t grow bonds with an actual Silkwing and no Silkwings actually care about her despite her being concerned for their tribe.
I had an idea for improving the book: the gift of vision gtfo and instead, have her interact with characters: Atala is a super curious Silkwing and sticks to Snowfall to learn about a new tribe, customs, and another queen that Isn’t Wasp. Over time , Snow warm up to her. Make her more connected to Hazel and share the struggle of being a young queen. And above all MAKE HER HEART MELT UNDER BUMBLEBEE ‘s CUTENESS!!!! Not only the hive wing baby could reminds Snowfall of Mink but Bumble now has an even more great purpose in the series WE NEED MORE BUMBLEBEE
The bad part about this book is humans (Scavengers) just suddenly being important and lets not forget can understand dragons and everyone is ok with that? Like the queens forgot humans started the war or all dragons went on a genocide called the scorching and almost eradicated humans off the contient. All of a sudden everyone is ok with humans potentially being apart of dragon business
As much as I actually liked Dragonslayer, I do feel very uncomfortable with how quickly the dragons and humans broke the ice with each other just by Wren being there.
The literal only thing i caught from the video was Snowfall going to tslk to other queens then when he said Qibli was going on the trip the rest of the time i was screaming in joy
I will say that it was a lot of fun watching Snowball’s thoughts spin out of control. The trauma was delicious. They needed more political maneuvering so she would actually feel like a queen. Heck, since they are only sending a few dragons back across the ocean, this could have been book 16 and explored the draconic relations between the continents as various queens maneuvered for power, alliances and trade opportunities. That could have even made the humans relevant as the queens realize they can expand their rule to include scavenger towns, with some trying to use them to find some edge over their neighbors. That kind of political scene would reveal machinations and make Snowball’s paranoia problematic but also more relevant and slightly more rational as it would probably save her life from an assassin once and get her into trouble half a dozen times. … Or there needed to be some plot to overthrow her.
I was hoping for Sky as the POV of book 15 to give us another Skywing POV since we've only had one. Also why Bullfrog and Pineapple I would've much rather seen Kinkajou and Sora.
I loved the book, I feel like EVERYTHING in the book helped Snowfall grow as a character, some people in the comments shouldn’t be so salty about the book. The ring was amazing in my opinion, WE might have known what was happening in the other continent, BUT the DRAGONS in the MAIN continent did NOT, the dragons in the ice kingdom no longer have to fear their queen or anything, they can be free and don’t have to live by a wall, the only reason we didn’t know much about the ice kingdom is because EVERYONE IS SCARED OF THE QUEEN, AND who could blame Wren for being a jerk after her WHOLE VILLAGE SACRIFICED HER?! THE SERIES ISNT EVEN FINISHED and y’all are already dropping hate, I feel like after book 15 comes out we’ll understand BOOK 14. Y’all just sad now, and no this is not targeted to the youtuber at all, i don’t care if you all feel disrespected or not because ik for sure i feel insulted hearing yall blabber about how “bad” the book was in its understandment when book 15 isn’t even here just seriously???🧍🏻♀️

Great take on the book, here are a few gripes I would like to touch on. First off there were no major plot twists, it’s a staple of the series at this point come on. Second why did Snowfall destroy the ice-wall when there is a threat of mind controlled dragons invading? And three the gift of order was just destroyed, that was there form of order in the Ice kingdom and without anything to replace it wouldn’t the kingdom go into chaos, and potentially start another war? And a smaller problem isn’t the gift of order Animus, so shouldn’t it arrange the dragons automatically, and if not how does the Queen know what every single dragon did in order to earn their placement? I don’t think these ideas were that well though out looking back on them, and were just kind of their to show how Snowfall has changed through out the book. Also Winter’s potential was really wasted, and I doubt we will be seeing him again sadly. But in the end better then Dragonslayer (but is that really an accomplishment?)
The gift of Order specifically struck me as an artifact that had 'fallen from grace' so to speak. It reads like it probably had another function that had fallen by the wayside after at least 1 selfish/near-tyrranical queen at some point or another. The system it was being used to perpetuate was pretty bad, but honestly the idea that Snowfall will need to engage in a lot of damage control afterward seemed to kind of be the point.
WAIT HOLD THE PHONE I HEAR THAT MH:W BG MUSIC I'll return after I legitimately watch the video now- Edit: S o, TDG- yeah, I don't really like it. I think the thing that bothered me the most was the ring, and the forcing of Sky and Wren into the plot. Why would the ring choose to start having daytime visions? _W h y ?_ I was initially fine with the ring forcing Snowfall's hand at charcter development, but once it clearly became a plot point only, that combined with the enchanted crown just killed it. Seriously, why would the ring only just then decide to "listen" to Snowfall, and why would the crown only just have been found suspicious by the time Snowfall was queen? On the topic of Sky and Wren- I didn't care for it. Seriously. Dragonslayer was a fun "whee, humans and dragons can get along, cool!", and that's all it needed to be. Fun while it lasted (which, admittedly, was not very long). What it _doesn't_ need to be is shoehorning Sky and Wren into the plot clumsily. Sure, Wren can come up with a plot to save Daffodil. Sure, that would involve Sky being his loveable self. I'm sure there are fans who definitely wanted to see more of the two. But we're okay waiting if it means we get a well written and fitting scene with the two, not a "oh, we think it might have something to do with scavengers, thank goodness we have a scavenger right here who can also speak dragon". All in all, for me TDG is a pretty forgettable book, and this arc is starting to feel a little clumsy.
@@blueberrii77 Tl;dr, I might be a critic, yes, but I'm not necessarily judgemental (word vomit ahead). When it comes to reading, oftentimes people point out trivial things (think the Qinterwatcher triangle) that they don't like or think could end differently. I don't have an opinion on it, and I don't tend to have opinions on books in general other than 1) "Oh, I enjoyed that book, it's a good read if you like _x_ ." 2) "Yeah, I guess it's a decent book. It didn't really stand out though." 3) "Oh, no- it wasn't for me. I can understand the appeal, but it's not for me." I care more about the writing itself. If a relationship is written well, with good build-up, then good! I'll support it! But in TDG, it wasn't written all that well. Had Tui given herself the time to really smooth out issues like the speed at which Snowfall developed, or the integration of Sky and Wren, I probably wouldn't have issues with it. But the way she chose to execute and write these, they stuck out like sore thumbs. It's too convienient, too easy- like the ring finally listening to Snowfall. It's the one time the ring listens. Why? Just because its purpose has been fulfilled, and it can be returned? It feels sloppy. If the ring had shown a little more sentience- say, a monkey's paw scenario where Snowfall asked for info about these "invaders" and got thrown into the PoV of one of the said "invaders", I would have been fine because the ring is showing that it _is_ listening to Snowfall, just not in the way she wants nor expects. If Tui had written the ring better, I wouldn't be questioning the sudden compliance of the ring, because it feels natural and fits the narrative at the same time. I'm not trying to judge Tui for these decisions. She's been writting a massively popular series with a fantastic world and a stellar first two arcs, of course she's going to have a few iffy books. I just wish that Tui could have given (or gotten) herself more time to write TDG so it flowed smoothly. In a way, I feel like it's partly our fault as the fans, for pressuring her to get the next book out- but we've crossed that bridge already, and the best thing we can do is keep an open mind while we wait for book 15. As for me coming off judgemental; I try my best to keep it constructive with a passive tone, but sometimes the way I word things come off judgemental. It's inevitable that something I say will be judgemental or hurt someone's feelings, but I'm never trying to- and I'm sorry if I do hurt feelings or come off judgemental. Really.
I need to vent. I am very disappointed. Getting rid of magic forever was such a cop out and was clearly only there for plot. The ring is the most plot device-y thing in the series. Snowfall's development was so rushed. The royal treasury was underwhelming. Sky was annoying. Don't get me started on those DUMB SCAVENGERS. The LAST THING I WANT FOR THIS SERIES IS THOSE DUMB SCAVENGERS TO BE A PLOT POINT. Almost nothing happened!! The only thing that advanced the overarching plot was the eleven representatives. While I'm glad the gift of order got blown up, it honestly just wasn't necessary. 5.5/10, and that's being generous. Final thoughts on the book: just... why?
i agree with most if not all of what you said in this book. however i gotta say this was one of my favorites. idk i'm a sucker for stories where the protagonist beyond sucks and slowly gets better, no matter what the method is. all my friends seem to agree with me on that like yeah it wasn't a great BOOK, but it was an AMAZING read. XD
Yeah, When I read the book, I was like, WHY ISNT ANYONE BEING SUPER FREAKED OUT RIGHT NOW?! Legit that would be my reaction if I was one of the Pyrhhoa dragons, thinking that the 7 tribes are the only types of dragons, and then suddenly there's just these weird dragons I've never seen before just casually approaching my homeland. Bruh. (:V)
I agree, the Pyrhhian dragons’ reactions to the Pantalans made 0 sense. Like, wouldnt Tsunami be more hostile? Why wasn’t Snowfall even more paranoid than she was? Why did everyone just accept that they existed immediately?
I absolutely LOVED this book lol even though there wasn't a major conflict it was still a very fun book and I really liked her coming-of-age thing and the character interactions
Unironically loved this book as its own mindless read set apart from the main plot. Otherwise, it should have been a completely different main character. Sky, Luna, Hazel, and Jerboa would have all been better choices to be the POV of this one(I said Luna for this because I was really wanting Bumblebee to be the POV for book five) to be more relative to the plot. Hell, you can still have Snowfall in it with her gift, and it would still be more relevant than this book was. I love Snowfall as a character, and I actually really enjoyed this book, but it had nothing to do with pretty much anything in dealing with Pantala.

Honestly I strongly disliked Winter turning as a book. I have quite a few reasons for this, such as: -it’s just a travelling book -winter gets hardly any character development -it has one main plot that doesn’t really do anything -the only thing that happens is foeslayer to be released on to hardly be seen in the next book AT ALL. This is all my opinion but even in the first book I was never fond of winter, so take this all with a tiny bit of salt. I always felt Winter to be the angsty type of teenager in the background, so I was kinda just bored with the whole protagonist thing going for winter. I see how Tui *tried* to put him into a love triangle... but that only made him feel awkward. Overall: not a big fan on winter nor his book. In my own opinions the dangerous gift was probably the same level as Winger turning, in the terms of disliked WoF books from me.
I loved Winter Turning and hated this book. Yeah book 7 is a love it or hate it type of book, but so far I’ve found that the only people who love book 14 are the type of people who think this series can do no wrong. (And I know that doesn’t speak for everyone it’s just what I’ve seen)
Winter is an okay character, though I feel like winter turning was mostly an informative book setting up for the rest of the arc. Winter just doesn’t have much room for growth, he got most of his growth before his actual book through Moon.

After seeing your video I finally understood *why* I loved book 14 In fact its my second favorite, only after book 6, for basically the exact same reasons. I actually wasn't much impressed by the start. The constantly paranoid, while understandable, did get old fast. Then the Gift of Visions started and I immediatly stopped caring about Snowfall. Book 14 is for me a collection of beautiful flashbacks only just held together enough to be cohesive. But the flashbacks were *so good* it more than made up for it. As I hadn't enjoyed Books 11-13 much aside from tidbits here and there I got all I wanted from book 14. Loads of fun moments. I wasn't much invested in the overall plot. I hadnt read Slayers yet so humans came entirely outa left field, but again just felt like another interesting moment, even if ot was a bit jarring. Lastly I adored the scene with Opal as it didnt feel like the "main story", it felt like another flashback, probably because as you mentioned her character flips on a dime. So why did I compare it to book 6? Well Moon's insight into everyones thoughts is basically the Gift of Visions, except tied to a *much* better plot. I genuinly like it more cuz its not just a gimmick though, the unraveling mystery and Moon being so shy was adorable, and you cant help but root for her. Snowfall was... a vehicle to get to experience other Dragon's interesting perspectives. Moon is so more than that. Also its why I like book 15. More interesting moments and perspective shifts.

I think the hype for this book should've went towards book 15 instead, then I feel like this book would be accepted more. Bc I REALLY liked it, def more than dragonslayer by a long shot. The only part that I disliked was the human dragon interactions, though I did enjoy sky's presence Edit: what I mean by accepted, is the fact that this was a really hyped up book considering the fandom wouldn't shut up about it. But it ended up being kinda filler, without much new or important info, but even then I feel like it still sets up a lot for book 15
You know, when I read book 14, I completely skipped the first vision before realizing that it was important to the story. I didn't read that part until I reread the book again.
I agree with you on dragon slayer. I’ve only read the first 3 chapters and I can already tell that Tui doesn’t care about Ivy or Leaf and Barely cares about Wren
Hopefully tui can get her writing creativity back up again for book 15. At least can it be decent? Hopefully again...Also luna is the main protagonist for book 15 which the book itself might be coming out around March 2022 but that's what I've heard from the presumed published dates for book 15 when I searched it up this time, dont believe me 100% yet it's a not so sure kind of level.
The third ark as a whole including Dragonslayer and this book, has disappointed me way to far. Blue is the most bland charecter ever, I am not the biggest fan of Cricket's book, Sundew's was Ok, but I hate how they killed Hawthorn. for 14 and 15, I was always saying, that if Tui was gong to add back in Phyrria dragons as POV's, then there is no room for repeat Pantala tribes. I would prefer it if either the POV for 14 was a Pantala dragon, OR the POV for book 15 was a Phyrria dragon.
I do have to disagree I found book 11 and 12 to be the worst in the series comparable to book 5 or 6 and book 13 to be a breath of fresh air as a good book comparable to 4 or 8 and book 14 was even better to me probably like book 10 or book 3 good. Again just my opinion but you can ask me why if you want to.
one of the reasons i loved wings of fire so much was because all the other books about dragons were always like yay humans and dragons are friends uwu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just wanted dragons because i love dragons, dragons and no humans; that's why i hate dragonslayer a lot, but now the main series is just dragonslayer. i wish dragonslayer was just a side story for ppl who want to know more about scavengers and wasn't shoved down our throats. the 3 main protags are literally the worst characters ever created in such a good series.
@@Oakhaze Thats cause it’s a filler, in the book it begins with snowfall being paranoid about all the kingdoms (since they just got out of 1 war and a pre war, her mother died, her sister ran away and a huge pack of unknown dragons are flying to her kingdom which is a mess) then it leads on to her finding out things of the distant continent that help her believe that in order to not lead an empire of pure fear and evil she had to re-connect with each tribe no matter the past history (Or she might get on queen wasps level of evil) and it ends with her coming up with a plan to save the distant continent, she destroys part of the ice wall so tribes can come her way (since re-connecting with tribes is important) and she destroys the wall of names since that leads a negative impact on dragons (in a mental way), the ring helps her realize why her mom chose her, and now she’s able to live up to the title of queen :D
I’m sorry but filler isn’t an excuse for messy writing also it made no sense to destroy the ice wall during the threat of mind controlled dragons. I respect your opinion see it eye to eye.
@@that_1_viewer239 also i made this list incase you or anyone was confused about snowfalls actions- try to understand she’s basically a teenager running a country -The wall of names were destroyed due to snowfalls tribes mental health -The Ice wall killed all tribes that crosses it, she destroyed it so other tribes could come over it without them dying (because their tribes were at peace now.) -the crown was destroyed because it was cursed to make whoever wore it hate nightwings. -the ring helped her realize and destroy all these things for the better of her tribes physical and mental health. -because of the ring she doesn’t see ice wings as all high and mighty instead she realizes that EVERY tribe is equally wonderful despite their flaws. I hope that makes things less confusing for you :)) if you have any other things to what your confused about I’ll try answering them more clearly then how the book explained it, fillers are hard to write because they can’t have much action to spoil the book after the filler
I like this one the least. Ive read every single book from Wings of Fire, and i dropped out of reading for like 3 months on that book. Thats the first time ive ever done that. I dont know why, it just feels bland to me. it feels nice to share my opinion lol
I think that the penultimate book in each arc, (books 4, 9, and 14,) are always the least good in the series. If there is a 4th arc, I'll bet you that book 19 will be disappointing too.
Your so right honestly.. but the part that bothers me personally is animus magic because it was literally destroyed FOR NO REASON WHAT SO EVER.. just another excuse to make it more “interesting”
Well actually I think Tui finally realized how animus magic completely demolished the power scaling in the books, and how it could solve every problem. So she just wrote it out of the story.
7:01 but honestly Wren's part is the only enjoyable part of the book so I can now avoid reading the other two characters (what were their names again) POV if I ever re-read the book.
