I get those vibes too, like it or not our former Empress sees Burnham and Discovery as her children and she wants to see them safe. or at least secure enough so she can take advantage of the weakened fractured state of the Galaxy in the 32 century.
She saw Michael as a daughter wanted the best for her, but mirror Burnham betrayed her, where as prime one is everything she wanted for her step daughter, it's her 2nd chance to make sure the young woman she cares about is okay
@@deborahwalton713 --- I'm with you on that. I love Ash Tyler so much more. HE & MICHAEL ARE SO HOT 🔥 TOGETHER. ♥️❤🔥They have really GREAT CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM. I hope they put them back together again. Michael was upset with Tyler but you could see she still loves him. She & Booker are a miss match. . . . Nooooo. . . I don't want them together. . . .
I like georgio shes honest shes not and she is strategist dark and one of the best characters. A mirror universe terrain in this time line.. Where are the q in all this
@@Washuluver87 Or they caused the burn to see what humanity would do without it's toys. To see if all those vaunted morals were real or the product of privilege. Or maybe the sentence carried out at the conclusion of their "trial".
...I have grounded faith in Star Trek Discovery because Writer / Producer / Director Alexander Hilary Kurtzman was handed an impossible task: Create a new Star Trek which doesn't associate exactly with the copyrighted elements of the original Prime timeline intellectual property. Wonderfully, he did that; and as a result, the Star Trek universe has a whole new field in which to play and create - and that's good :)
Michael was always her favorite child after san died but prime universe Michael is like her favorite favorite 😅 she wishes her terran version was more like her more kind and etc to lead them into a new way
This must be Empress Phillipa Georgiou from the Terran Empire... Oh, no... I know that Captain Phillipa Georgiou, commanding officer of the USS Shenzhou (Federation Starfleet, Prime Universes) was killed by a Klingon, on the Sarcophagus and then eaten by him... That's not the Prime Universe Phillipa Georgiou, I know that for a fact, because she's dead!
It may have something to do with it’s spore drive making it the perfect “refuelling” ship. If any ship for some reason lost it’s dilithium or could not re-crystallised them, rather than waiting on another ship to be dispatched, discovery could be there in an instant.
@@ronaldcustard4636 while we can’t be sure when the process is developed, even if it’s not developed at the time of Discovery it strengthens the argument of why ships of this time would carry significant quantities or would require a ship like Discovery to refuel in the event of something happening to their dilithium.
Yeah they need a good supply as re-crystallising it wasn’t a common thing yet. (One of the last season’s final episode had a guest character from a planet that had just figured out how to do it) Iirc she was from a non federation world and they hadn’t been convinced to share that breakthrough yet. And presumably never does or Scotty wouldn’t have had to figure it out himself during the Voyage home.
