Just when I managed to crack through $1000+ in March, I get hit with this...
Luckily it all works out and I get to keep publishing and striving for bigger numbers :)
Let this be a warning and an important lesson to always play it very safe especially when it comes to trademarks. Stick to the guidelines, a lot of people get away with questionable content, doesn't mean you will too!

Regarding the trademark issue and getting the book blocked, could you share what did you think was the reference to other brands?

Hard for me to be specific without giving away my niche but basically it was an element of my illustration that closely resembled a logo of a famous brand. Due to it being a rather integral part of the design I didn't remove it, but it's proven to be enough to get flagged. Basically don't include logos, patterns and silhouettes which are easily recognisable... Hope it helps.
