I like to keep it simple and easy as that's the way I learn ha ha ha thank you for watching and taking the time to subscribe. There are other book folding videos I have done and they are easy too. Also there are templates to make diffrent cut outs from books like the vase. I will admit i have not done the bottle or the fruit but thought id make the templates and give them away free on my craftytwunts facebook craft page. thank you for this, I was wondering if it would still work out ok if you cut the book in half, instead of tearing the page down, if that makes sense lol x
I have most of the folds done for the teacup ,do I cut away from the rest of the unused pages leaving the spine or do I remove spine.Hope i am explaining it ok

Hi Alison I made this teacup but it won't join up very well there are gaps I had the same problem with the tealight holder and a Xmas tree I must be doing something wrong as all these types do not join up nicely.
Sometimes you have to pull them together to get them to join. Put your glue down the spine and grab a small handful of pages at each side and gently pull them together so the are even and either clip them together using bull dog clips or pegs. If you come join our craft facebook page Craftytwunts I can show you how to do it. Or watch the cake folding book tutorial I show you how on that one. It can be caused by the spine rolling in too tight at the beginning as it has more time to curl in than the end of the book folded pages. If you understand what I mean. It happens a lot so don't worry. If you watch the cake book I show you how to pull it together as you glue it to make it even. Thank you for watching xx
I am sure it was around 70 folded pages. I usually tell people to fold as much as you can until you are happy with it as some books have thicker pages than others so you might need less folds or more if the paper is thinner.
