AN UNBOXXXXXIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGG okay but last time I was this early you were still making editing jokes about how past you should “shut up because you got in” to grad school.
That, "An unboxing" was so spooky, truly a Halloween moment haha. I am so excited for The Brilliant Death. It sounds so unique and interesting! I really hope Slayer is incredible because Buffy was my entire Middle School life haha
I love how you say "unboxing" (like almost singing), and I love LOVE love that you inserted a clip of multiple yous from past videos saying "unboxing"! 😊
is that... raiNBOW SPRAYED EDGES WHAT Lots of really interesting books in this one! I've been looking at the fall into fantasy readathon but i'm already doing a month long readathon lol. gonna see if i can fit what i already have on that TBR into the prompts for the week haha
The special edition of Six of Crows is so beautiful! And I absolutely loved Forest of a Thousand Lanterns last year. Xifeng is my Slytherin spirit animal.
The "an UNBOXING" part is absolutely hilarious! I love buying books in UK editions as well! It's just nice to have multiple copies of my favorite books, especially when it's a gorgeous new cover! I actually just read Ace of Shades and I can't wait for the next book :) LOVE how Language of Thorns matches Six of Crows, I'm so jealous!! Books for Trade sounds so convenient while at the same time being hard because of having to deal with shipping and things like that haha That new cover for Forest of a Thousand Lanterns is GORGEOUS!! That edition of Nevermoor! I've actually been dying to read it ever since you first mentioned it, so now I jsut might have to buy that edition haha This was such a great haul and I always love hearing your summaries, it gives me such a good idea of what they're about and I always hope to sound as well educated on the books I haul haha
Your bangs be bangin, also That Night sounds like an amazing book! We (thankfully) rarely have things happen here in Sweden where several young lives are takenin a traumatic way, but two days ago it was 20 years ago since the "disco fire" where 63 humans aged 12-20 lost their lives and I've been listening to documentaries about it so I'm in a mood to read books like That Night and a book that one of the survivors wrote that just came out!
The Miseducation of Cameron is one of my new favorite novels. I haven’t seen the movie yet. I’m just sad that the movie didn’t get the promotion it deserved. I can’t wait to see what your thoughts on the book will be! 💕
I am so in love with your LEEEEEEWK. SOC looks amazing I hope they do the second book as a collector's edition (though I haven't even read them yet). What if it's us sounds adorable whilst Sawkill girls ugh, just give me those creepy vibes!
Hey Emma you might want to try Boy Erased by Garrard Conley. It's a memoir about the author's childhood when he was enrolled in conversion therapy. The movie adaptation is also out today!
I really need to get my hands on the Slayer arc but i think i might want to wait for when it comes out so i can get the hardback since i’m very particular about owning mostly hardbacks 😭
For what concerns convertion therapy, you should also check out "Boy Erased: A memoir" by Garrard Conley. This one too has been made into a movie and it's coming out real soon!
So hyped for the Fantasy Readathon! 'Forest of a Thousand Lanterns' will be on my list too :) Can't believe 2019 releases are already beginning, it's insane haha
In two weeks, I am leaving for my gap year with only 25kg of baggage allowed, so it's kinda crazy I am watching bookhauls, because it makes me really sad that over the next year, there will only be ebooks and probably nothing of the brand new books I want to read.
@@ABisdoingjustfine that would actually be a good idea, but I am going to Jerusalem, and I can't read hebrew and arabic... But maybe I'll find english books :D
He also bought me a copy of Final Fantasy X Strategy Guide that I have been dying to add to my collection since 2001 !!!! He found it at a charity shop for £2 !!!!!!
Buffy is also my favourite TV show so I’m really intrigued (and scared, lol) to read Slayer! I’ve heard great stuff about Kiersten White’s writing, so I hope to love it! :)
There isn't many I know of in terms of Indigenous fantasy fiction... :( but I have heard good things about Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse! I've also read tons of great novels by Richard Wagamese, fantastic Indigenous Canadian author (mostly fiction but not fantasy-type).
Muse of Nightmares was stellar. You are gonna love it. I bought Beast Made of Night last spring but I haven't read it yet. I just saw Dry at the bookstore yesterday but I bought KoA (I know) and Wildcard. This was a great haul.
I want to do the readathon but I’m currently reading the last 3 books in the Harry Potter series since I haven’t read them before and I’m on order of the Phoenix right now... and we all know how long that book is
@@brittanymoseley1675 I definitely agree. The narrator does an AMAZING job! I am so happy Emma recommended the audiobook. It made this book one of my all time favorites for sure.
I bought Strange Grace by tessa Gratton in October. It was definitely my absolute favorite read for last month. I also really loved Kingdom of ash, which I bought last month. Another one I really loved was a conjuring of light.
I just finished An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and it's really great. I did not expect the story to go where it did, and it was just such an enjoyable ride.
I work at Barnes and Noble and An Absolutely Remarkable Thing was Octobers book club book and all the people who bought and came for the book club night really loved it. They said it was futuristic!
I met Claire at a signing and I didn’t have an arc of her book so she gave me hers! The book is amazing and definitely one of my favorites from this year
i just rewatched with 2 more ads get you more money to buy more books to make more videos and let me give you more money because you're so talented and I've only been here since December 2017 but I LOVEEEEE your channel so much❤
