I read The Silent Patient in one sitting! I starteded in the morning and finished it in the afternoon. God that book was a fucking page turner and the ending !! 🤯
I just finished that in maybe two sittings, and the end did blow my mind. Lol. I just read Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney today, and that book blew my mind a few times, so I gave it 5 stars. 😂
@@bhavya7953man I love this comment. My mom passed at the beginning of 8th grade year. I was sad angry all of it. School was the last place I wanted to be and I used to get in so much trouble in all my classes because I would read while they taught and never did my work 😬 but really reading is what got me through that alot. ❤
@@idonthaveaname3046 i agree with on your views on Colleen’s books but for me verity stood different from all her other books,it clearly stated that whatever the characters were doing or saying was NOT correct
@@plankton383from how no life I was I read Harry Potter and the deathly hallows which was around 600 pages in one sitting, 8 hours! This series will always be one of my favs
@@gracyk873 Well, when I wrote that comment, I was not feeling that good, so I read to escape that feeling Plus my parents were not that happy with me (because I was not studying) So to kinda annoy them, I read these books in my bed which disturbed my sleep schedules and left me with headaches But it was worth it ig😅
@@book.thangs well its not as much as a series. it’s a trilogy. Its the second book and the first one “summer I turned pretty” was good too! They made the first book into a t.v. Show/series on Amazon prime. And it’s a teenage romance about a girl
The summer I turned pretty. Idk how or why since I usually read fantasy but I just could not put it down! I guess it reminded me a bit of my holidays by the sea side:)
civilization by Niall Fergueson I read the entire thing whilst highlighting most of it. I remember at the end I realised it was light outside. A truly incredible book
Ive never read a novel or even a novella in one day to be honest. The hallmark of a good book to me is that it fills me with so many questions and concepts that i have to put it down to contemplate and sus it out before going on. I wish i could just lay and read fiction for hours like in movies though. It seems very romantic.
I coudn't put down To All The Bright Places. I bought this book in 2018 and still to this day whenever I am sad I just read it again and still I always feel the emotions even after all these years as if I was reading it for the first time.
Mine was Dear, Olly by Micheal Muphurgo. It quite a thin book and I finished it in about 2 hours. Sat there for 2 hours. I would recommend if you like books with a simple plot thats easy to grasp but still interesting and keeps you wanting to turn the page.
I do not have book that I have read in one reading but I finished it very quickly, actually their are 2 books One when I was in 4th grade , I read Dragon Masters part 1 in less than a day and the other one is Goosebumps : The Haunter These 2 are SO GOOD!
Mine was 'The boy and his ribbon' series by pepper winter ..I was in tears by end of the second book.. Really hearwrenching story....Another one I would suggest 'Stoic' by Eliyang.
Most recent book I read in one sitting was Piranesi, I sat down with the intent of reading the first chapter and ended up knocking it out in like 3 hours it was such a page-turner
