The Wizards Of The Coast have just released The Book of Many Things for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, and I’m going to talk at you about it. I’ll let you know if it’s any good, and particularly, if it’s worth your money.

I have three bookcases full of RPG books. The only WotC item is Art & Arcana. This latest book will not change that :D Neat vid though. Oh, I lied. I also have the 4e DMG which I think I picked up after one of your 'Steal These Rules' videos!

I mean, it has feats, backgrounds, maps, one-shots, magic items, monsters, lore drops, and more.

My old group used to run across the deck a lot, nearly every session in fact. Oddly enough most of those were from the DM rolling on the random treasure tables, had some great and terrible times with it. I'm glad you're enjoying it but I think I'll pass personally, I already have stuff for random encounters(AD&D second edition deck of encounters 1 and 2.)and other such things, the art was very nice though. Looking forward to your review of the physical deck. =^_^=

it's out of print, so you might have to hunt. I got mine on eBay

@@wizardsling The set is delayed until January. Bad quality cards have to be replaced before they will release it. I believe the book alone is only available on D&DBeyond as digital

Sounds interesting. But if I'm not mistaking, it's 99 bucks... and that's too much for some ideas to drop in ones campaign.

that's the full price for the print + digital + card set version. Just the books or digital only are cheaper

That part didn't really make sense to me. I guess you draw a card and it relates to some made-up zodiac system, and that helps define your PC's personality.
