Your explanation of chiasmus is powerful. I had never considered looking at it from a mountain climbing perspective, but your description resonated with me greatly, and I thank you! These insightful presentations are a beautiful gift you are leaving your children, and the next generation.❤
I’d like to share a poem with you that I wrote a couple of years ago at one of my pinnacle moments. Renewal With grateful heart I greet the day As darkness flees from golden light And all illusions of the night With every blink dissolve away. And yet, betimes when day is done My burdened heart asylum seeks As crim-sun over mountain peeks, To blessed slumber I succumb. Divine design hath made it thus- This cycle known to mortal men; Retire, recover, rise again… The ebb and flow of life we trust. The march of time in cadence strong Cannot be altered on its way. Each trial or triumph of today Becomes a mem’ry ere too long. Remember, then, ye weary-worn ~ The God of matter, time, and space Has put the sequence into place That each day we can be reborn. Come! Lay your burdens at His feet! With power and compassion, He Will lessen them or strengthen thee, The challenge of each day to meet.
Maria, can you kindly add the option to go back or forward 15 seconds? I am forever scrolling back to rehear a precious insight, or when I'm having my own spark moments. That would be much appreciated. 🙏🙏🙏
