This video is about words in The Book of Mormon that have been preserved in Native American languages. See FULL PLAYLIST (so far): • Book of Mormon Evidenc...
The Book of Mormon is a true record about a group of believers in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, who left Jerusalem in 600 BC and ended up somewhere in ancient America. It covers the years 600 BC - 421 AD, and also includes a brief record of a much earlier group of believers in God and Jesus, who left the Tower of Babel (approximately 2200 BC) and ended up somewhere in ancient America as well.
Many Native American tribes still have Hebrew/Middle-Eastern linguistics/customs still preserved in their cultures to this day. Some of them are descendants from the people in the Book of Mormon. The ancient North American Mound-builder civilizations correlate with the people in The Book of Mormon. They built fortified cities the way those people did. They had metal armor and swords like those people did. They made mounds filled with human bones like those people did. They had ancient Hebrew/Middle-Eastern writings like those people did. They had some X2a DNA that traces back to the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern area where those people came from.
There is plenty of evidence in North America supporting the Book of Mormon. Read the Book of Mormon and research the Mound-builder civilizations (especially the Hopewell and the Adena). You will find that there were once great ancient civilizations right here in the United States and Canada that you most likely had never been taught about in school.
This video is Part 11 out of 11 videos that I've made, which is still only a very brief introduction to these ancient civilizations and the people of the Book of Mormon. You have to do your own research, because your schools most likely never taught you about these civilizations. You will be amazed with what you find!

We are to only follow our savior Yahusha not any man made religion. John 4:1 warns: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Testing the spirits is vital because of "many false prophets" in the world. Our Heavenly Father Yahuah gave us a method of how to test a prophet to determine whether they are true or false. In Deuteronomy 18:21-22, Moses wrote “You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a message the Lord has not spoken?’ When a prophet speaks in the Lord’s name, and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.” Father Yahuah provides us with this warning so that we know how to test anyone who claims to be a prophet. Joseph Smith repeatedly made prophetic claims “in the name of the LORD” that did not happen. Here are just 3 of his prophecies that failed to happen: 1.) In 1835, Joseph Smith prophesied that the Lord’s coming was only a few decades in the future, specifically, he predicted that the Lord would come in fifty-six years (History of the church vol. 2 p.182). Fifty six years from 1835 would reach 1891. Yahusha did not return within fifty-six years when 1891 arrived. 2.) Joseph Smith prophesied in 1832 that the New Jerusalem would be built in Western Missouri and that within the New Jerusalem would be erected a temple during the lifetime of those hearing his revelation (Doctrines and Covenants 84:1-5). This did not happen. He stated three times that a temple would be built there. "For verily this generation shall not pass away until an house shall be built unto the Lord..." (D&C 84:2-5,31). To this day, no temple has been built there. 3.) He also prophesied that the rebellion of South Carolina and the War between the States would result in war being "poured out on all nations" (D&C 87:2,3), yet no other nations participated in the Civil War. He said the war would result in a "full end of all nations" (D&C 87:6), but not even one nation ended. And he said the war would occur "previous to the coming of the Son of Man (D&C 130:12). The war ended in 1865, but Yahusha still has not returned. These prophecies did not come to pass. The criteria of a true prophet is not failing when predicting the future. This is because God makes no mistakes when he tells us what will happen. He said “For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done” (Isaiah 46:9-10). Yahusha also warned us: "Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." This is not telling us to examine a prophet's good works. Many false prophets have many good works. The fruit of a prophet is his prophecies. One false prophecy makes them a false prophet, even if some true prophecies are given. Yahusha also warned us that false prophets are able to perform great signs and wonders (Matthew 24:24). A false prophet will never say, "I am a false prophet. Follow me!" He will appear to be a true prophet. This is part of the "sheep's clothing” that our Savior warned us about. If Joseph Smith was a true prophet, his predictions should always come true. If any of his predictions ever failed, this would prove he was not a true prophet and we should not follow him according to our Heavenly Fathers test of a true prophet in Deuteronomy 18:20-22. Satan deceived angels who were in the presence of our Heavenly Father, convincing them to rebel against Him. If satan was able to deceive angels we can only imagine how many deceptions he has created in this world. Our salvation is the most important thing so we need to make sure we diligently seek out the truth for ourselves. Our Father warned us that our hearts can deceive us and He cautions us not to base our faith on feelings. But Mormon Scriptures describe the way to recognize truth as a "burning in the bosom" and a "feeling." Scriptures warn us that feelings are not how to discern truth from error: Jeremiah 17:9 - “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” Jeremiah 10:23 - Proper guidance regarding right and wrong does not come from inside man. It comes from outside man. Nothing within man can indicate whether or not a message is from God. That would include feelings or a burning in the bosom. Proverbs 14:12 - “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Since feelings come from within man, they cannot give assurance of truth.

Hey, I noticed this on one of your older videos, but just saw it again on this one. You've got Nauvoo marked on your map too far south. It's up where the river bulges out to the west. Across from Montrose, Iowa. On your map it's right at the Missouri/Iowa border. But Nauvoo is north of Keokuk, Iowa & straight across from Montrose, where Wayne talks about the Zarahemla temple site & where JS was commanded to build Zarahemla. Anyway, I LOVE your videos! Keep it up! Brother May's videos & thoughts on this subject just struck a nerve with me & my son & I have watched them all & yours too! There is talk that the land masses broke apart during the time of Peleg in the Bible. In fact there are cultures who say you could not leave the Mediterranean because it was landlocked. If you look at the shapes of the continents they do fit like a jigsaw puzzle so that being the case the western tip of America and the eastern tip Asia would have been to far apart to make a land bridge.

First off, I had to confirm that “Namaesi Sipu” does in fact mean “River of Fish”. Provided that the narrow neck of land is where you and others suggest…and since Sidon in Hebrew means “Fishery” or “Hunting Place”…this would be an interesting parallel. NOW…and once again…I have to contradict you with facts concerning the name of God in Native Languages. Among the Algonquian, Ojibway, and Anishinaabe people, the name for God is “Gitchi Manitou” (translating as Great Spirit), not “Yah” or “Yod-he-vav-heh” as you’ve been suggesting. The cuneiform tablet you’re using as evidence (as well as the anecdotal evidence) are not supported by the actual languages of the people in question. Also, “Ne Pah Ite” would not likely be pronounced as “Knee-pa-height”, but rather some thing like “Nee-pa(h)-ee-te”, which sounds less like our English pronunciation of “Nephite”. I’m gonna chalk this up to being coincidence. It would be unwise to read into this as being passed on for a couple thousand years based off of a (likely) bad pronunciation that sounds like Nephite modern English (“ite” in English referring to a group of people…in the English language I must stress). “Manti-Noah” might almost work if we knew wether Manti of the BoM should be pronounced “Man-Thai” or “Man-Tee”…or if the suffix of Noah actually means the same in the native tongue as it does in Hebrew, or at least has a derivative meaning. That’s something I’d look into before using it as evidence.

The last ages proved that we were here after ancient Egypt (here in the states) was dispersed...this is the land where sky Woman fell upon the turtle Island. There are tribes in Saudia Arabia who are related to certain tribes of the Mother tongue (and yes this includes Hebrews from there) There were the human beings and the others who were children of the Nephilem or giants, these were the ones who ate people and drank the blood of infants. I am from the Northern Cheyenne tribe and would love to discuss the placement of these ancient ones. Looking for such a city in Angola a couple years back, I couldn't find it, but the capital of the Comoros islands, between Madagascar and mainland Africa has the name Moroni. Maybe my childhood memory is off with Angola. Also, my mission president, Dennis K. Brown, would tell us about Book of Mormon evidences, one of which is a custom among some New Zealand natives (?Maori), who when greeting a new person have the custom to recite the genealogical line of their forefathers, kind of in a rhythmic chant. In reference to your disclaimer around the 2 min mark about the LDS Church not making an official declaration of where the Book of Mormon (BoM) took place: Here is the church's current official position: “The Church does not take a position on the specific geographic locations of Book of Mormon events in the ancient Americas.” (Gospel Topics Essay: Book of Mormon Geography - LDS Church) While it is true that the church is currently trying to take no position, it is not true that the church has never taken a position on the specific geographic location of BoM events. Like in many other instances, the church has changed its position on previously identified geographic locations for BoM events out of necessity after science has disproved those claims. There is a long history of the LDS church, often quietly, changing its “official” position when ultimately proven wrong. Anyone who reads the early church publications will easily see that the Church's official position was that the BoM took place across North, Central, and South America. Now, through science, we have a much better understanding of the ancient cultures in North, Central, and South America. Based on that better understanding, not a single scientific discipline, as a body, claims the evidence available today supports BoM historicity claims. Not one. The fact that the only ones presenting "evidence" to support BoM historicity claims are those who already believe BoM historicity claims should be very telling. It is called confirmation bias. An objective analysis of all evidence for and against BoM historicity claims does not lead to the conclusion that the BoM really is an ancient historical record of God's dealings with ancient Native Americans. If it did, the scientific communities would use the information contained in the BoM in their quest to better understand ancient Native American history, religion, and culture. The fact that they don't, again, should speak volumes.

The General Authorities likely know that the Church Historians all agree that D&C 125 pertains to the naming of a Stake organized across the river from Nauvoo in honor of the ancient land of Zarahemla, and is not a revelation as to the location of Zarahemla. Furthermore, careful analysis of the Book of Mormon depicts the ancient city of Zarahemla as being between mountains to the south and a fruitful agricultural region to the north, and that the river Sidon flows from south to north. Wayne May points out a lot of noteworthy points, but his pick of Zarahemla is not correct.

Three questions I've never had an answer for. Why do LDS "experts" contradict everyone else in terms of linguistics, DNA, BOM animals and plants, Egyptian history, naval matters, etc Usually folks arrive at the same conclusion with the same evidence. 2) Why does the story change? It once was "Indians descended from Jews and lived in N America (where Cumorah is)". Now it's "we're not sure", Central/South America, "unexplored" area. 3) Civs with roads for chariots, large buildings, steel weapons and tools, pottery, smelters, etc would leave mountains of evidence. We've found camp fires a million years old but can't find a trace of an advanced civ numbering in the millions? The whole thing seems odd since ocean voyages of the type Columbus took required several innovations not existent at the time - quadrant, nocturnal, rounded bottom, lateen sail, etc
@MeatGoblin88
@MeatGoblin88 11 месяцев назад
I'm not disagreeing with your main message but you're wrong about the naval technology point. Romans could've sailed across the Atlantic had they been willing to. It was less of a technology problem and more of a willpower problem. People have crossed the Atlantic with a tiny boat made by primitive indigenous people of South America.

@@MeatGoblin88 Any who made it from the Old World did so by sheer accident. They lacked the right ship design, a good compass and rose, stern-mounted rudder, astrolabe for navigation at sea. In the spiritual Yah is like the beginning and ah is like the expansion male and female like your breath inhalation and exhalation or inspiration and expiration. But native tribes from the eastern US/Canada have quite a bit of haplogroup X2a DNA, which originated in the Middle East (including Jerusalem). That part of Asia and the northeastern part of North America have the highest concentration of haplogroup X2a DNA in the entire world. Sadly, many prominent scholars in the Church have spent decades assuming that the main parts of The Book of Mormon took place in the Mayan territory, but they're wrong, and sadly, it shows up in LDS art and videos, and many members believe it as if it came from prophets. But the Mayans don't match the people from The Book of Mormon at all. In fact, the Mayan pyramids and artifacts are nearly identical to the pyramids and artifacts found all over southeast Asia. The word "Maya" is a Sanskrit word that means Magic, and the word "Guatemala" literally means the Land of Buddha (Guatama was Buddha's first name). If the LDS scholars would just stick to what Joseph Smith personally said, then they would know that the eastern United States is the only place that Joseph talked about when it came to Book of Mormon people, but they get hung up on this "Land North, Land South, and Narrow Neck" description, thinking that it must mean North, South and Central America. But the people of The Book of Mormon match the Adena and Hopewell Mound-builders, and there are more people in the Church who are finally starting to figure that out, which is why the wording in the introduction to The Book of Mormon (which was never part of the original Book of Mormon) was changed from "principal ancestors" to "among the ancestors", and is more accurate, because again, most native tribes from North, Central, and South America appear to have haplogroups A, B, C, and D DNA. The Mohawk tribe says they have some ancestors who came across the Atlantic in boats, landed in the Florida/Georgia area (where the oldest Hopewell sites are), and the alligator is a special animal to them because it is the first animal they saw when they got off the boat. The Ojibwa tribe says they have some ancestors who came across the Atlantic in "turtle boats", entered through the St. Lawrence seaway, and settled the Great Lakes area (where the most Adena sites are). The Navajo tribe says they have some ancestors who came across the waters (Atlantic or Pacific?) and 2 brothers rebelled. The Papago tribe says they have some ancestors who came across the waters (Atlantic or Pacific?) and were guided by a ball that pointed where to go. The Cheyenne tribe says a "yellow race" came across the Pacific. Central America (particularly Mayans) is full of ancient east Asian architecture and artifacts. So the answer is that Native Americans have some ancestors who came across both oceans. As far as The Book of Mormon people are concerned, my opinion is the Atlantic ocean for many reasons explained throughout my 11 part series.

@@MichaelP_IsMe I watch a video from a Navajo elder in describing their language and sacred parts not written, how they believe the ancestors sent one to beg the holy ones, who made the earth from gathered materials, not to change their language. It was pretty cool

Doctrine and Covenants the Stick of the Gentiles? “The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.” (Ezekiel 37:15-17) The Lord commanded saying to take a stick and write upon it for Judah, and they did. The Jews and Gentiles still have it. It’s referred to as the Bible. Then the Lord said to take another stick and write upon it for Joseph, and the Lord called it the Stick of Ephraim, and they did. That stick, which we call the Book of Mormon, is referred to by the Lord as the Stick of Ephraim. It is an abridgement of the records kept by the prophets the Lord had chosen to do the writings. In it (the Book of Mormon), is written what the Lord said to Joseph, the son of Jacob saying: “Wherefore, the fruit of thy loins shall write; and the fruit of the loins of Judah shall write; and that which shall be written by the fruit of thy loins, and also that which shall be written by the fruit of the loins of Judah, shall grow together, unto the confounding of false doctrines and laying down of contentions, and establishing peace among the fruit of thy loins, and bringing them to the knowledge of their fathers in the latter days, and also to the knowledge of my covenants” (2 Nephi 3:12) The Book of Mormon was written specifically to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel, and also to Jew and Gentile. But, the Jew and Gentile were not referred to as a remnant of the house of Israel. “Wherefore, it is an abridgment of the record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites-Written to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel; and also to Jew and Gentile” (Title Page to the Book of Mormon, written by Moroni, son of Mormon) The followers of Joseph Smith want to consider themselves as a remnant of Ephraim, through the lineage of those Ephraimites (of the ten tribes of Israel) that were assimilated by the Assyrians, and lost into the north countries of Europe. Supposedly, those would have been the now Scandinavian countries, from which they then migrated from England to the United States. But those Ephraimites were warned, by the Lord, to repent, but because they were worshipping idols and had broken their covenant with Heavenly Father, they were cut off from the covenant. And where is their stick, if they are the remnant of Ephraim? Not the stick that was written to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the House of Israel, and also to Jew and Gentile! Joseph Smith was given the gift to translate the Book of Mormon and told, by the Lord, to not pretend to any other gift, for he will not be given any other gift. (Period!) Those precious words revealed to Joseph Smith were changed (altered) to now read contrary, in a book called the Doctrine and Covenants. The Lord told Joseph Smith, that Satan would do this, in a plan, which the Lord said was a Cunning Plan to destroy this work. Not just the translating of the Book of Mormon, but also, the reason for which it was preserved. Joseph Smith repented of what he and Martin Harris had done, in losing the first 116 pages they translated from the Book of Mormon, and was allowed to continue on with the work until it was completed. But then Joseph Smith mistook the reason for the Book of Mormon and began to pretend to many other gifts and altered those revelations given to him, and added more which are now recorded in the book they call the Doctrine and Covenants. Is this book the stick of the Gentiles? Along with their other book called the Pearl of Great Price, which supposedly contains the translations of the Book of Abraham, and the Book of Moses? They certainly are not the Stick of Ephraim, which is written to the Lamanites, a remnant of the House of Israel, as Moroni tells us! Although being righteous men, Moses and Abraham were neither of the fruit of Judah's loins nor of the fruit of Joseph's loins! So, tell me, where is the stick of those wannabe Ephraimites of Joseph Smith's followers? They lost it! Back, when they were worshiping idols and breaking their covenant with Heavenly Father, and Heavenly Father sent the Assyrians to conquer them and scatter them to where they are now lost, with the others of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel! And now we Lamanites have to come to the knowledge about who we really are! We are the Remnant of the Seed of Joseph! (through Ephraim, not Manasseh! I will explain why later, but first): There is a distinction between the Seed of Joseph, and the Remnant of the Seed of Joseph. "For as Joseph brought his father down into the land of Egypt, even so he died there; wherefore, the Lord brought a remnant of the seed of Joseph out of the land of Jerusalem, that he might be merciful unto the seed of Joseph that they should perish not, even as he was merciful unto the father of Joseph that he should perish not." (Ether 13:7) It is we Lamanites, who are the Remnant of the Seed of Joseph, whose fathers were brought out of the land of Jerusalem and given a new name, because of all those of the house of Israel, that were brought out of the land of Jerusalem, they were the only ones that were diligent in keeping the commandments of the Lord. It is we Lamanites, because of our father Lehi's blessing, who are not cut off, who must help the rest of the seed of Joseph, and the others of the House of Israel, to understand who they really are! So that they do not perish. This is the Work of the Father that Jesus spoke about to the Nephites, in the Book of Mormon. And it is up to us Lamanites, in these latter days, to do this work, to fulfill the covenant God made with Abraham, that through his seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed! Please share, as many times as possible, so that this Work of the Father can help as many as possible to not perish!
