I have the book. I am reading and studying it. While on the Way, I was told that there is much truth in it, and that it is good for instruction and learning.
There are more things in heaven and earth than could be dreamed of. It can be overwhelming. I thank God and Jesus Christ for the iron rod to hold onto. Bless you who enlightened me.
I was just talking to my father n law, who is leaving for a mission to the land down under about this. I wonder if there was a great peacemaker in Australia.
Thank you so much for having Chief Cloudpiler on. I have found him to be a down-to-earth person who loves the Lord. The Nemenhah Record answers the following questions: What happened to Hagoth? Corianton? Where did these 30k-50k people go listed in Alma 63:4-6. Would you like to read the Book of Samuel the Lamanite? Where did Samuel come from? Do you know why Moroni finishes his father’s record and has nothing much to say? And then ends up writing 10 chapters of his own? And why the Book of Ether is between those two records? This record is the blueprint for helping to bring Zion. Record Overview The Nemenhah Record is a history that begins with a man named Hagoth whose ancestors left Jerusalem around 600 BC. If you are familiar with the Book of Mormon, Hagoth was the shipbuilder referenced in only a few scripture verses. Around 55 years before Christ’s birth, Hagoth led a sizeable group of people into the North country, or what we know today as North America. Instead of these people following the name tradition of calling themselves either Nephites or Lamanites or any manner of -ites, they called themselves Nemenhah which means “The People” or more accurately “The People guided by the Holy Ghost.” This record follows the descendants of Hagoth for nearly 1600 years, detailing many incredible and heartbreaking events, up until the time when the Gentiles spread across the Americas and drove the native people from their lands. Within this timeframe, we hear from great prophets such as Samuel the Lamanite, Corianton (son of Alma), Moroni (the last Nephite prophet), women who were prophetesses, the Three Nephites, and many, many more. There are also detailed accounts of Jesus Christ visiting two separate groups of people and teaching them His doctrine. The first appearance was to a people in the Western part of the country in a city called Mentinah, and the second visit was to the Northeastern part of the country, where Corianton and his people lived. Some of the overarching principles taught are the four core pillars or laws: The Pillar of Knowledge and Obedience, The Pillar of Sacrifice, The Pillar of Virtue, and The Pillar of Consecration. All of these were taught within the home to their children from a very young age. Living these principles, as taught in purity, truly was an endowment unto them. This often culminated in them being taught personally by angels and even the Savior upon The Way. Receiving the gift of the Second Comforter, even a personal witness of Christ is taught throughout. And by far, one of the most oft-repeated principles is seeking wisdom and knowledge through the gift of the Holy Ghost. I know of no record that repeats this invitation more frequently and clearly.
The Savior's name the Peacemaker is mentioned 2,672 times in the record. It teaches us to seek His face, to become His servant, and to help build Zion. Love it....
Question: Why don't you (Shane, Trevor, David) ever discuss the geography controversy with Cloudpiler? To me, the Mentinah Archives support a Mesoamerican model of BoM geography. Are you trying to protect the feelings of Heartland modelers?
@@jeffreya.faulkner8367 That would be a great discussion! I have studied the records and don't profess to be an authority but my condensed take on it: Hagoth landed where the Colorado River enters the Baha area. There were a few ships. One got lost and settled in Hawaii... some of them traveled west to the Philippines, Taiwan, and maybe Japan. It helps me to realize that this record covers many many years. A lot longer than our country has been around. There was plenty of time to move around on this continent. Some believe a group travels to Alaska and then to Japan. The Inue people of Japan have similar features and customs of Hagoth's people. Corianton and Isabel traveled on the East side from the land down south and moved to the Great Lakes area. The records show that Samuel the Lamanite traveled to the land southward to call the Nephites to repentance. These people hid during the Nephite-Lamanite wars and hid from the Gadianton people. They wanted to hide from the US armies but the Lord made them humble and will have such a great future for them. They, the Indians, will be protected now while Babylon is destroyed. They will be the main force in building the New Jerusalem. The Way, the Peacemaker's Way, is being established. The records tell us how to do it. Yes, I would love to have them discuss this also... ❤
You absolutely are. The book of Mormon took place on the Malay peninsula. It's all there. The animals, the food, the cities are still there, the geography matches perfectly. The ancestors of the Malay peninsula would later go on to settle the south Pacific, Polynesian islands, Madagascar, comoros (which has a city called Moroni), and even, according to Michael Coe, lived among the Mayan. Their architecture is the same, some of their language is the same. Moroni eventually buried the book of Mormon in America. He sailed from the Malay peninsula, to comoros, and then onto America. Even AI knows it. You place the internal book of Mormon map on the Malay peninsula, it is an exact match. The city of tanah merah is zarahemla. They both mean red city. Even China knew about it. They called it Chi Tu, or the great red kingdom, which was rich in silk and trade, sound familiar? The Karen people in burma were a part of it. Read about their legend of the golden book. Not to mention their last stand against the burma army and they called it Kawmoora. The people of Madagascar migrated from the Malay peninsula approximately 350 ad. They were escaping an internal conflict in a place on the Malay peninsula called komorriya.
There’s a book called the Aklatan. It purports to be a history of the people in the Philippines, including a visit from Jesus Christ after His resurrection. Copied the link below. Pretty interesting… abookofdreams.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ANG-AKLATAN-1.pdf
The Nemenhah records are wonderful! So much truth and understanding to be had . So much more truth prophecied to come forward and this only the beginning.
I started reading this and something caught my eye. When Christ comes to visit them, it was only a couple of days after Christ was crucified. Christ tells them that he had visited the nephites and called the twelve there. He didn't visit them until a year after his resurrection. Did anyone else see this discrepancy and would it make this book false?
The book is an obvious fraud and is preying on the hearts of those that have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. There are many many inconsistencies, which the Book of Mormon does not have. A history of a real people would include actual history of their people, not just a whole bunch of awesome cameos from another people's historical record. Don't fall for this crap and risk looking foolish for believing in all the other things we believe in.
This one is tough for me to swallow. I like Chief Medigah’s approach to not argue doctrine and just stick to gathering. Eventually it will be necessary to find the truth though, which requires ,I feel, urim and thummim. Until we have that to translate, I’m not buying fully into Cloudpiler’s translation OR some scholar who has scans. We need to be skeptical. IMO, the entire stone in the hat theory combined with stories of Joseph Smith’s rumored “sins” are an attempt to make us believe bad men/women can be prophets with seer stones. I’m not falling for that I hope! Love what you guys do here!
David, maybe you can help guide me to understand. I purchased the Nemenhah book and I have been reading this thing, absorbing it, and I found myself offering some kind of defense for it while maintaining the narrative that we don't know if the records in this book is true or not. I went on a defense for the possibility of this book because there was a translation council behind this book, that this council offers some kind of validity to this. But what I cannot help to think is upon what Phillip Cloudpiler has stated and what I have read thus far. I'm not going to list every question and contradiction that I have but some of what I presently have: 1) If these were found in a cave, which is possible, why dynamite the entrance if the records were removed? Why not leave the evidence of the cave or others to explore or examine? Especially being destructive to the very key behind the translation of this book? 2) The Crystal Skull. I know he refuses to offer the plates or scrolls or whatever up for examination, but for someone with a PhD, wouldn't you think that they would be offered up for some kind of scholarly work to be done? What about photographic evidence since these things are supposed to be in existence today? Biblical apocryphal writings contains some evidence of their existence. 3) The Book of Mormon Open Doors. Isn't it convenient that this book is covering every open door in The Book of Mormon? example: Hagoth and Corianton, son of Alma. Hagoth can be believable but the story of Corianton and Isabel is questionable, even the genealogy presented for Samuel. 4) Timeline and locations. I have studied up on many things concerning the archeology of South, Central, and North America. I have seen cases made with evidence to match these cases. Example: Mayan's existed between 1500 BC and 900 AD (Central America); and Hopwell culture is estimated to be around 100 BC to 500 AD (North America) (possibly as early as 600 BC). The Nemenhah book completely destroys these timelines for these cultures. Admittedly, I don't know everything about the ancient America's but at least some theories from the Heartland model matches with some of the time of The Book of Mormon. 5) The Sons of Aaron (or Levi). BIG problem with this one. The Book of Mormon clearly states that their people (Sons of Lehi, Nephites and Lamanites) are among the Tribe of Joseph through Manasseh. Levi is another tribe of Jacob or Israel. We can read a mention of that tribe but there is absolutely NO acknowledgement of the tribe of Levi among this people. Is there any verse within The Book of Mormon that will backup the Sons of Levi living among Lehi's and Mulek's people? 6) The Nemenhah book contains a lot of teachings that you can find in both The Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants. And comparable teachings within our very own temples. It tends to resonate well with those who run controversial campaigns against our very own faith, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of these very campaigns that has caused controversial figures to be excommunicated. 7) The New and Everlasting Covenant, is eternal marriage. The teachings of this covenant in Nemenhah is a BIG contradiction to LDS teachings. 8) Natural medicine. I'm on the band wagon with that! That's not an issue. I had a friend, nearly 20 years ago, I knew back in college. We spent a lot of time together. She was from Guatemala and a staunch Catholic. She's been to the ancient ruins of Central America and learned about Quetzalcoatl in school growing up. She explained that the legends of Quetzalcoatl was that he taught the people to be good to one another; Quetzalcoatl taught the people about healthy eating, foods to eat and drink; Quetzalcoatl taught the people about natural medicine. If I were to read an ancient record concerning Gods and America, this is something that I look for. The Book of Mormon is minimal on the history of this land and grand on the Gospel of this people. I expect more from ancient records concerning Christ to contain more of a history from HIM and his actions rather than just His gospel Principles. The teachings and His actions in this Nemenhah book are too comparable to that of The Book of Mormon with additional inputs that contract what we presently have. I need to stop. I said I wasn't going to list everything and I'm not. And I apologize for being scattered with this on the spot comment. I'm finding some excitement reading this book because, I, like many others, desire to read more scriptures - more so from the lost 10 tribes as prophesied, but I must remain grounded. My excitement does not mean the Holy Ghost has been offering up answers, it could be that my very own pride has cut the Spirit off from giving me a straight answer. Though, I have noticed an uneasy feeling settling upon me day in and day out since I began reading this book that went away as soon as I started to write my questions of contradictions that I found. This is leading me to believe that this is another fanatic from our church that came up with a story with intent to start their own religion and to take advantage of our struggling congregants with questions that this seems to answer. (Looking to be a little too good to be true) There are people brilliant enough to feed off of prophetic teachings, manipulate writings to their own benefit, and deceive the very elect. (Lorin Wooley, John Barlow, Joseph Musser, Mark Hoffman, Julie Rowe, Chad Daybell to name a few). I want to believe that this is additional writings that has been discovered but I need more evidence. I'm asking for more evidence because Phillip Cloudpiler says it exists. Can he show us photographic evidence?
@@ZionMedia_ Thank you. I’m guessing this is Trevor. :) Perhaps you can put my thoughts and questions into better words. I’m being critical because I am very curious. Also, I will like to hear more about the council of translators and what each of their involvement was on the translation process.
3rd Nephi:21 is clear, the work of the Father will commence when they (His people Israel) are gathered to the land of their inheritance so the gentiles can help them build the city of Zion. This must happen!
One thing that would help to legitimize this book is to make cross references to the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine & Covenants, etc. Also to publish an audiobook version…
I hope it didn't sound offensive. You're both such awesome people that they must be putting the wrong guys in jail! I guess I shouldn't make assumptions because I don't know either of you. But after watching many of your podcasts, you both seem like upstanding, honest people. That's all.❤❤❤
Rewatched, paid better attention this time. 😊 I haven't watched too many of Cloudpilers or Cheif Midegah's. So basically these records and the birch bark scrolls are family history of both their respective tribes? And the Jews accept Midegahs scrolls and that they descend from the Jews? So both of these tribes feel they are the descendants from the Book of Mormon, am I getting this right? Yet the Book of Mormon was written for the Lamanites about these people and the Gentiles are to help gather Israel in the last days. Is that where they are going with this? There is some negativity that has been heard by both towards Latter-day Saints/& Europeans so what is the overarching goal of these tribes records to be brought forth at this time? Are they trying to get them accepted as scripture? There are no doubt some interesting, timely things that have been happening. Just trying to get a better understanding. Thank you 😊
On the title page of the BofM it says the book was written to the Lamanites. The book explains the Lord used the LDS church to get the BofM out to the world. A few righteous LDS saints will help the Lamanites build the New Jerusalem.
@@bgcougar13 I see where I repeated myself and corrected the one word, thank you. But it still does not answer my question as to what the goal of these tribes are pertaining to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What are they trying to accomplish with these records and the church? Cloudpiler said he doesn't care and hasn't had contact for 20 years. If all of the known scrolls and records are brought together by the heads of the clans in September, great. They should be scanned for better preservation and comparison. But other than some members of these tribes also happening to currently be LDS... What are they trying to accomplish? I have some idea, but would like it to be said outright so I'm not just speculating.
@@h.r.1523 Dear h.r.1523 Thanks for your very important question. Please know I'm just an investigator like you. I've got to go now but will write more in a few hours. Love your important question.....
@@h.r.1523 Dear h.r.1523 From my humble understanding of the records and may be contrary to the understanding we have received over the years ...... The Goal of the tribes is to get close to the Peacemaker (Savior) as the records teach. They teach why and how to get close to HIM in this life. The Church of the Firstborn will be the Spiritual Church that brings the righteous to Zion led by the tribes. Before the Savior comes again there will be a big sifting of tares. Are you truly on the Savior's side? Chief Cloudpiler understands his role and was taught from on high. We can receive these same blessings if we follow the simple Way of the Savior found in the BofM and in which these records so beautifully teach. Love ya...❤
Im curious if cloudpiler believes the book of mormon to be a true record? he is obviously disinterested in the church, but does he believe the book of mormon?
He knows the BofM is true. His wife is LDS. Her stake president told them that the church took the believers in the book off its blacklist. The church now characterizes the book on its official site as apocryphal. The book gives an interesting history of the LDS church. It says we should be centered in Christ and not the arm of the flesh.
Did he say the language is based on Phoenician? Any one know where I can get a larger version of the character in the circular construct? I can't make out the characters on the video. I would love to compare it will some of the artifacts from Burrows cave Illinois. I wonder if he has heard about the city of Manti (from the Book of Mormon) in Missouri (second had account from Joseph Smith revelation). He may live near Book of Mormon lands and not know it.
@ZionMedia_ Thank you for providing that. I thought this might be a calendar like the Hopewell Michigan relics, but maybe not. The one on Michigan relics has 13 months. Based on the Hebrew, they had 12 lunar calendar months and another month to complete the solar year. These counts don't seem to count in order but are something else, maybe a date. Many of the counts seem to be Mayan with the eagle section, but then are put vertical with the Buffalo. With the wolf, I haven't seen those types of counting systems. The characters in the circle rings in the bottom right section, could be Hebrew. There is a double tav, aleph, backward aleph, a gimmel, shin, and a lamad. There is a possible daleth above the eagle. The 2 in the circle bands at the bottom reminds me of the characters' document and is believed to be Egyptian. I have seen the up arrow used with the burrows cave artifacts to possibly mean tomb. With the Hopewell artifacts in Illinois (burrows cave), the possible symbol for burrows cave is an up arrow with two vertical lines. The reason I say Phoenician is they were all over the Americas. DNA from South America links to the Iberian Phoenician. I wonder if Hagoth ran into a Phoenician outpost in the Americas. They would have been more similar in culture and language than the Mayan or Teotihuacanos. In Panama, in their museum, there are gold plates and some leather fabrics with Egyptian and Hebrew. These were found in a tomb in Panama. Isreali scholars believe these artifacts to be Phoenician.
Well my thoughts in general are that I’m open to it just like I would be to a sweat lodge or a darkness retreat or even some guided plant medicine retreats. I think people should be free to seek out the best books and the best teachers. I would say Joe is someone I highly respect and agree with his theology bad much as I fail to understand it. People need to trust & follow the Holy Ghost. End of story.
I agree to a certain point, a person better be sure 100 % it is the Holy Ghost. So many good people were deceived by that Mark Harmon letter that later turned out to be a forgery. They believed because the HG revealed it to them. It matters to me when people get deceived, I've seen it within my own family. I don't want to be asked in the next life Why didn't you warn me? It's our duty to warn our neighbor. The story never ends. Sure we all have our agency to choose, but with that agency comes accountability and that my friend we don't get to decide. The Gospel is meant to be Free of charge, New Age doctrine you pay for if you choose to.
So to clarify, to the nemenhah, the temple was used for edification, not necessarily salvation. Where the LDS teaches the the temple is essential for salvation. Joseph never taught the Kirkland temple was for salvation, but more edification, similar to the nemenhah. So when did the LDS change the purpose of the temple as being essential for salvation? Is such a teaching a corruption of the purpose of the temple?
The Mentinah Archives are available online in an ALL IN ONE pdf file. Search the Mentinah Archives all in one pdf. Should be one of the first to show up. That's how I got my copy.
That’s not true I found the entire Nemenhah record with a Google search in PDF format. It was found on the domain called a book of dreams. Sorry YT does not like links in comments.
One of the themes in the Nemenhah record is being on the way. Obviously, you have had that happen.what is the message or reason the Holy Ghost wanted this to come forward? What responsibility did this personage give you to do after this was done?
Cloudpiler seems to have alluded to the origin of the Nemenhah being in Central America. From reading the Book of Hagoth, I sense that they left Mexico and sailed through the Gulf of California and up the Colorado River to the Four Corners region. (Corianton seems to have crossed the Gulf of Mexico and ministered to the Hopewell.) Those directions seem to conflict with Heartland modelers' theories. Meldrum et al. think the migration was in the other direction. Do you see a conflict there?
Hate to break it to you but the Meso and Heartland models both fall short. The Continental Model is the only model that works and doesn’t require you to explain away church history and evidences that are found in North and Central America.
@@QBurd Wowser..... Just looked into your suggestion...... really good on the Continental Model.... Lance even brings in the Nemenhah records into it... Thank you so much!!!
He is not in the wrong business because Despsa is using the truth as a priest raft. So this brother Cloudpiler doesn’t want that business nor do you guys.
What I'm struggling to understand is if this book is legit, it is literally one of the most important books in the history of mankind. It validates the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Why would you not be a active member of the LDS church then?
I have this same concern. It’s a huge red flag to me that Cloud Piler was so heavily involved in this whole Mentenah archive, and he says it testifies to the truthfulness of the book of mormon, and then he says he is not an active member for 20 years. Why? I’m sorry, that’s just a big issue for me. If the book is true, the church is true. If there is a legitimate reason he is no longer a member, then he needs to share so it eliminates that as a source of doubt. Otherwise, he could be pulling an elaborate con with other non-members to dupe us all and convince us of the truthfulness of these other records in an effort to show how easy it is to manufacture a seemingly true record. Casting doubt on Joseph Smith and everything he’s done.
Also, the cost to access the records smacks of priestcraft. They used to offer them as a free pdf, but now the only way to get them is to pay through the nose for a physical copy…no offense, but I’m not investing in something that might be a load of hooey. Missionaries give the bofM out for free…
The church owns it now, What? But he just started a religion. I am not sure I trust this, I mean I distrust him a lot. Maybe more the plates than him. I not sure what to think, the fake plates of Brazil is something I fear. He could of been tricked but I don't know, I know Holland said be prepared for more translated books, so maybe...
