Thanks for sharing your progress. You are correct and valid in so many ways that show you are on right trail/trial/tail/tale/tell that ends in the one and only summit. One thing I have learned along our journey is that when we jump the gun, we only shoot ourselves in the foot. By this I mean that when we convince ourselves and/or others of a belief so much that we express it as fact: our thoughts are in poor form. Such misplaced conviction muddies the waters, makes us vulnerable to deceptive suggestion, and raises red flags to others about our intellectual, spiritual, &/or moral integrity. It is often evident when someine makes this error whether they are doing so in an honest way that is a common trial we all must face at some point(s), or if one is acting in bad faith. However, sometimes, it can be hard to tell what the motivations are or if they have even fully cemented themselves as such to inspire whatever dogmas are at hand. My only advise to you and anyone reading this is that wisdom involves the humility to understand why we are never too old or educated to be above correction by ourselves, others, or life itself. I don't think its helpful, for example, for you to advise your audience to abandon the world due to its sorry state in comparison to better worlds more deserving of our focus. I would advise people to balance these two avenues however they can as sides of one coin. Helping others is paramount to right action and spiritual hygiene which includes helping yourself and the world in any way. If it werent for those who refuse to check out: we wouldn't have the freedom to do so and much worse. Even if we can't fix or save the whole world: any margin of good is preferable to none. Without hard evidence, taking faith of such things as truth and misinterpreting what qualifies as evidence is the same means by which cults like Heavens Gate lures victims into abandoning their lives for abuse and death. As such, what use do we have for it? If we are honest, let us be honest. Practice epistemological ethics. It doesn't mean you have to be technically accurate in all your language, but it will mean you can always clarify and self correct without fear of guilt or shame. It also means we expand the common ground upon which everyone can unite and rally against public enemy number 1 aka the powers that shouldn't be. As the Bagavad Gita advises its hero: fighting the good fight on earth is an indispensable aspect of practical spirituality
