Portia. I had an aha moment with you last week. I'm a brown lesbian raised by a straight white man, a brown woman, and a brown brother. And I held a boundary firmly, but kindly with him last week. I'm 99% positive that this works and that I'm living proof that cisheterpatriarchy exists. How else could I be confident enough to post this in this space? For the first time in my life, I'm certain you'll understand what I'm saying.

I don't in any way mean to disrespect your space. I'm pretty sure we have increbibly rare insight into one another's experiences, but I can never, fully, understand. But I think I have a piece of the puzzle you need to help women like YOU the only women everyone forgets and the only ones that have treated me, unerringly, with kindness. I genuinely believe they're desperate for your love and so I'm desperate for them.

Have you never seen someone try to hold back tears of pain? Have you ever seen someone not try to release all their anger in a space? And for you to come here and ask me why I acted a certain way, as though my actions are ANY of your business, is wild enough, but to say I discredit my Podcast, which is called Boundaries + by the way, is comical as you are here trying to trample all over mine.
