I just joined the Facebook group! I am going to be traveling about 45 minutes to and from work this coming school year so I plan to put my Libby app to work with audiobooks.

I have the Paradise Problem on Hild with library. I might have to go ahead and buy it because it looks like it will me 3-4 months . I will also be waiting for Powerless for a while but I feel like it’s time for this ole girl to try something new! I can’t wait to see what we are doing for July!

You have me intrigued by the Christina Lauren books! Me and you like pretty similar books. Idk about the fantasy..I tried Fourth Wing and didn’t get the hype. Loved Funny Story! I felt the same about Frieda’s latest books

I read Beach Read and Funny Story but like movies, once I read them, the details flee my mind. 🤣😂Just for Summer, Abby Jimenez, is ready for my at the library. I was totally let down but the most recent Susan Mallery book, her newest, and was so disappointed. It took forever to get through it but I plugged away. I have never read a fantasy book as it just doesn't appeal to. I loved hearing about your June challenge and how you decided on your reads. As usual, I loved your book reviews. The Housemaid is Watching is on reserve at my library, a physical book, I'm about 198 on the list! Enjoy the holiday.

Hi Jess. If you liked the idea of people stranded on an island, I would highly recommend Still See You Everywhere by Lisa Gardner. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A mystery thriller with a sarcastic and funny main character

I also gave the housemaid is watching a 3 star. I feel same way with her newer books. This one actually took me longer to read. Even the twist wasn’t that great. Just ok. Im not sad i read but just not as good. With all this said, i will still read her books. Im just hoping for the way her first housemaid book caught my attention!! I discovered a new to me author lately. James Caine. I really like his psychological thriller style. I have read 4 now and they are super easy reads and keep me very interested. Some give a lot of criticism to his writing but i like his story so much!! I would recommend The in-laws first. It was so good!!!
