Great book haul! I have that Tollhouse cookbook and have used a lot of pages from it in different junk journals. The Betty Crocker parties for children might be my favorite in the bunch!
Amber the larger books are harder for people to create because of the page size. Like typically if you make a journal out of a Little Golden Book for example you can usually take a regular size page ef just plain copy paper and fold it in half and it will fit in a LGB. I know that's why I shy away from the big books. Now don't get me wrong I have a lot of them....I've only made two journals out of the larger books though. I love this video! TYFS.
Hi Carrie❤️…I hear ya! I like to make larger journals and many of my personal journals /glue books/art journals are made with full size pages. The tricky part is hinging the pages together because it does then bulk up your signatures… I’m figuring out away 😁 I have all these great large covers … Thank you for being here 💕!
@@Thriftyjournalshop I started using coffee died paper to hinge my LGB signatures. I can't say it will last but it doesn't add the bulk that washi and fabric adds. I'm looking forward to see you create those large journals. Oh and the cookbooks....can we say swoon❤
