Literally any Rick Riordan book I wish I could re-read for the first time, Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus and The Kane Chronicles were such a source of comfort and nostalgia for me
similar to you I'd also love to read The Poppy War for the first time once again. Because now - after reading it - I look at the characters in a completely different way... like I can vividly recall how I felt about them at the beginning and I think it's just very interesting how the way I perceive them changed when I was reading the story
Is it weird that I am not really a book reader myself, but love to watch some of your videos talking about these books? I just like how excited you sound about your favourites. It‘s similar for me with watching gaming-related videos, despite not playing video games myself lol.
Book I wish I could read again: Strange the dreamer (that book is just magical) Six of Crows Shatter Me series-one of my favorites ever Heir of Fire Children of Blood and Bone
My list would no doubts be: the Monsters of Verity duology (made me cry so much), the Truly Devious series (all the plot twists, I mean...), Graceling (that I discovered thanks to you so THANK YOU JANANIE), the Queen's Gambit (somehow so inspiring and psychological) and the Scythe series. I'm now really looking forward to reading Strange the Dreamer and Legend, they definitely sound like my cup of tea🧡
I totally agree with you...I wish I could read A Very Large Expanse of Sea again for the first time. It was just so amazing, I was blown away by Mafi's writing and all of the characters! ❤
I reread a book when I completely forget everything about the book with only knowing that I really liked that book or wait till I completely forget what's happening in the book
My list would include: the song of Achilles, call me by your name, Atonement, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Extremely Loud Incredibly Close. Needless to say, I cried a lot with all of them
Mine is Sadie ✨it was such an emotional read/listen, and every character felt so real. There were things I wasn't expecting and it made my first and only read one heck of a ride! Evelyn Hugo is a close second!!! ❤️- there were things I wasn't expecting, and there was always a question as to what would happen next, the answers never what I expected. The sun is also a star is one I would like to read again for the first time. I read it in one setting forever ago. warcross is sooo good- the plot twist... 👌. Was not expecting it but I was So thrilled when it came. I read that a couple years ago. Still need to read book two, so I will be doing a reread. I enjoyed six of Crows too! The scheming is what I want to read for the first time, like Kaz is the best. Maybe the book thief... But that's if I just want to cry and throw my book all over again. 😂 Lol.
i also read legend years ago and loved it, then this year i bought and read the graphic novel adaptations and highly recommend doing it. It was a great way to kind of read the books again but in a new way, I had also forgotten much of the plot 😂😂 but also i agree with you so much about so many of these especially warcross what a banger that book is

The only book I can think of is If We Were Villains. And the reason is is because the two times I reread this book it didn't have the same punch as the first time and it didn't have the same feeling when I finished it. With my other favourites that I've reread I did have the same feeling or I got more out of the book or something different out of them. If We Were Villains is the only one that I felt like I lost something when I reread it.

Possible spoiler: Evelyn Hugo reminds me of the manipulation of many of my family members so it pissed me off. I was so angry that it ruined the whole book for me.
ahahah I have a series that was sitting in my bookshelf for 3 years. I can’t believe it. Finally I picked it up last month and now I’m in the end of all 4 books and in love with the world and the characters in there. Some books just stay there waiting for us until we are ready!
@@MsWillowbayOrelse ye my country has a ton of libraries but they mostly sell school textbooks and stuff. The ones that sell storybooks and novels aren't located anywhere near me.
@@demi9001 Oh our libraries let you borrow books, that you return after you read them. Then you can read/listen to almost any book when you can't afford to pay for them. Our library has a physical location but also an online one. So we have the option to borrow ebooks/audiobooks as well as books and books on cd.
I‘ll probably be heavily criticised for it, but if your options and finances are that limited, why not simply download/pirate books? Save money for an ebook reader and download books. And if you have some money together, you could buy the books you most liked.
