I really wanted to read it cause the trailers for the movie made it look like it would be some fun road trip / mystery, but my friend who had read it told me to not even touch that book with a ten foot poll. From what she's told me and from other things I've heard, I'm very glad I didn't waste my time reading it, cause I know I probably wouldn't have liked it.

LeaTheHatless YEs !!! Insurgent was like one of the worst books I read in 2016. It just drove me nuts when Tris and 4 kept lying to each other and I thought it was so slow and nothing happened...ugh. But divergent was great though!
I love Tobias but his pov annoyed the eff out of me! He literally repeated everything tris said and added something about genes every three sentences, and the ending! No! I loved divergent and insurgent

Marcus' Book Nook I agree it is hard to start even I had to find the determination. But once I found two easy video editing apps for my phone I'm on my way and having a bit of fun with it.
I got so frustrated by Harry potter and the cursed child, mainly because of the fact there wasn't much of interaction when they were at the school. I felt like it was a page of them on the Hogwarts express then a line saying they were at the school then within the next couple of lines it was 'and then it was the Christmas holidays, time to go home' and I was just like 'no. I want to see them experience some of school...'

I actually enjoyed the idea of the Selection series, but after the first book, during the second and most of the third I was just like "just piiiiiiick a dude America and STOP BEING SO FRUSTRATING"

I fucking hate _Throne of Glass_. And people actually have the fucking nerves to compare it with _A Song of Ice and Fire_ and call it the young adult/female version of it. The only thing _A Game of Throne_ and _Throne of Glass_ have in common are the two words that appear in both titles. That shitty ass young adult book has *_NOTHING_* on ASOIF.
*_Especially_* since I don't like it I will call it shitty lmao And I get that people have their individual opinions but there is absolutely no doubt that that _shitty_ book doesn't even hold a candle against ASOIF, whether that be in the aspect of storytelling, world-building, plot, etc.

When you first brought up Paper Towns by John Green, I was like 'What? How could you not love it?!' and then you explained more in detail and every word you said I related to. By the way, whenever someone asks me what a fangirl does/ even is, I will show them this video because this is the closest representation I have seen with out watching Christine Riccio (sometimes she talks really quickly and I can't understand her, but I love watching her videos regardless). Thank you for making this video, I loved it and could relate a ton!
I think that City of Ashes was so frustrating for me because I kind of kneeewwww in my heart they wouldn't be (or I was really messed up for shipping it, one of the two) and so I felt like I was just IMPATIENTLY waiting for it to be over so we could get on with it hahaha. That being said, I still loved the book.
I didn't enjoy Paper Towns as well. It took me so loooooong to read and after a long time I finally stopped at page 100 or something... couldn't get through it.....
I completely agree about Dragonfly in Amber. I fell in love with Outlander because it was a love story to Scotland. There were parts that I enjoyed about Dragonfly in Amber but it wasn't when they were in the French Court. I did absolutely love Voyager! That book wrenched my heart out quite a few times. Can't wait till you read it and review it!

I just reread City of Ashes and OMG! I wanted to scream the whole time! And I know I have to read through all of City of Glass untill they finally know the thruth! AH!
a book that i loved but frustrated me so much was Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas because there was so many characters that it felt stretched out and like nothing was happening and it didn't focus on Aelin or Dorian and that made me sad :((( but I feel like the last 200 pages saved it because THAT ENDING OHHHH MYYYY GODDDDD

OMG Sasha! I couldn't agree more with you about Dragon in Ambar! I read Outlander 6 years ago and I enjoyed it so much that I read it 3 times... and then last year I was reading Dragon in Ambar and I could not finish it.
Alejandra Zamora I unfortunately did read it. I actually found it less annoying but stupid nonetheless. Eadlyn's attitude changes a bit but it's only takes a certain someone to go on the brink of death...but she's still selfish. I thought it was also messed up how all the suitors got disqualified as it went on. It just felt like such a plot device to get "easily" rid of some of the guys. I rated The Crown 2 stars and The Heir 1 star if that says anything lol.
I totally and completely agree with you about dragonfly in amber.... took me forever to get through. I just couldn't get into Paris but I knew I needed to read it in order to get to the other books.
OMG Sasha you just read my mind. I discovered Outlander because of you (thank you) and I LOVED. The first book I read in 3 days but the second book took me forever to finish. I just want to go back to Scotland I didn't like the time spent in France...
I had the exact same feelings on Paper Towns!! I NEED to read Outlander this year! City of Glass frustrated me because in one scene Clary and Jace were arguing and in the next one it was okay again and ahh!! My feelings... And you are back to red hair, yay! I mean, I liked the other hair color as well but I discovered you with read hair so... :D
I get what you're saying about Dustlands. It took me a bit to get used to the way the book was formatted, and to get used to the characters dialect. BUT honestly, that trilogy was pretty amazing! It's a violent dystopian novel with lots of action, drama, and a bit of a mystical element. One of the best dystopian trilogies I've read in awhile. Give it another shot :)

Right now I'm rereading Dragonfly in Amber and I know what you feel. But all that frustration falls away immediately reading Voyager which in my opinion is the best book in the series (but I can't say that yet because I've only read four so far). I'm rereading all of Outlander and maybe even continue on with the series because of season three of the tv series. Can't wait for it!!!

I read this one book where a boy's parents go missing and moves to Scotland to live with some relatives. He assumes his parents went missing somewhere in Scotland and him and two friends go time travelling during the Scottish Independence of William the Conqueror. The story ended with not finding where the parents are (only hinted they time travelled to the same time period) and the boy stays in the Middle Ages, ditching his friends essentially. I personally found the story and time travelling to be such a waste of time!!
I love John Green in crash course and his channel with his brother, I also think he has a lot of talent with writing but in my opinion he could use that talent with something new.
Where the Raindow Ends was changed to Love, Rosie for a while. Not sure if the change stuck because the movie kind of bombed. I tried to read that book but I didn't like that it was ALL letters. I hated missing those gaps in the story and the conversations. That and the fact that they purposely leave in all the grammatical errors was the equivalent to my nerves as the sound of nails on a chalkboard is to ones ears.
I agree with City Of Ashes, that whole situation annoyed me so much, I DNF'ed it the second time I read it, but thank god Jace turns out not to be Jonathan
I am currently reading Dragonfly in Amber and dear God do I feel you! Like can they please go back to Scotland. Im a simple girl who wants descriptions of how Jamie survives off the land. (Im a sucker for 'surviving in the woods' chapters. They're just too fascinating)
The whole brother sister thing in TMI I found was so bothering. Like it didn't feel right. At all. So I can't appreciate the relationship of Jace and Clary when they spend half the series shoving this complex down your throat. If that plot twist didn't exist I would have been happier and not stressed out!!
