@@kiwiwiw It's about a girl named Avery, she inherits 46.2 billion dollars from a Texas billionaire, Tobias Hawthorne, but she doesn't even know him. The entire Hawthorne family now hates Avery and some wanted her dead. No one knows the real reason behind why Tobias left Avery everything. but he left clues , It's basically a mystery + a bit romance typa series definitely recommend sorry for the long paragraph
@@ayeshahasan2615im replying super late… but oh well. I’ve read it and it’s actually really nice. I recommend. But if you’re someone who gets emotional really easily (like me) you’re probably gonna cry a lot. This book will leave you IN SHOCK with the COMPLETELY UNPREDICTABLE PLOT TWIST at the end… 🥲
@@isharahman8562 I’m pretty sure it was the one where she thought Toby was her dad but then he wasn’t 👍 and then he was a Laughlin and he was adopted and all that stuff
The inheritance games series is just soo amazing..! I am in the second book ( the Hawthorne legacy) rn.. And I swear there are a ton of mysteries yet unsolved. Each chapter you have some new unexpected mystery solved or unlocked.! And that's what keeps the reader engaged ✨
Omg I remember getting my hands on that book when I was like 8 or 9 and my parents taking it away! I was mad back then and now Im sad I never got to finish it- the beginning was good.
Omg a flicker in the dark. That books plot twist was so insane. It took everything you knew in the book, everything about the main characters backstory and showed what really happened. I really recommend it for an amazing thriller and plot twist that will blow your mind!
@@st4rg3zing ok so ⚠️spoiler alert for those who don’t want to now what happens ⚠️ So basically throughout the whole book Chloe (the main character) is trying to find out why these girls are disappearing and why it’s so similar to her father’s crimes. She also befriends a reporter from the New York Times since it had been 20 years since her dad was arrested and the reporter wanted a story but they ended up being friends. She also has an older brother. So eventually one of her friends step-daughters gets kidnapped as is going to be the next victim, she goes to her childhood house that is now abandoned and finds the girl passed out but not dead. Then the reporter comes out and is offering help and then Chloe is like, “how did you know I was here?” He then starts panicking and is shot in the back by someone and before he dies he says that he swore not to say anything. Then she rescues the girl and calls her brother to her house. She then tells her brother what happened and then tells him she knows he was the one who killed the girls when they were kids, and the one who had recently killed the girls. Their father had found evidence of his son committing the murders and took the blame. Her brother is about to attack her now when he passes out since he put a drug in his wine and recorded the whole conversation. The police arrest him and her father is released from prison.
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (US) / The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (UK) also has an amazing plot twist and it is probably the best mystery I’ve ever read
I haven't read the inheritance games yet, but i've read some other books by the author and the plot twist in one had me sitting in shock trying to comprehend what just happened.
Haha you need to read "two can keep a secret." also by Karen M McManus that one had a plot twist I didn't expect. And theast line chilled me to the bone for a couple days. Still gives me shivers. (Also, a good Girls Guide to murder is one of my favorite books of 2021)
Good girls guide to murder had an amazing plot twist I was not expecting it and the whole book was really great and so much up to the hype like the whole series was really well written and all of them had great plot twists The one of us is next to me personally had a better plot twist than the actual first book of it and the plot twist was laid out really well and I liked how you didn’t know the whole twist till the very end and I was so shocked by that I wouldn’t say that the inheritance games had an unexpected plot twist and I didn’t really get the hype of it like it was very slow and it kinda lead to where it was going for me it was quite obvious
In my opinion it was a 3 star I feel like I predicted how they mentioned her sister and not ask anything about Andie and I expected more since it was 14+ not particularly something specific but I feel like it could’ve been more
@@midnightmuchies65 omg I’m so sorry for not replying, i never got the notification for ur reply and only just came across this video again- But anyway in my opinion it depends on ur maturity and innocence, as it has some uh- things related to *it* but honestly i think 13 is fine to read it at
@@terzosgloves im 11 i read it at school in classes bc at breaks everyone needed me and looked at my book and asked me about it,at my afterschool,I shouted at my mom for stealing it out of my backpack because I was desperate to read it. Never read such a good book in my life and im 11 just. I also read stuff like Ivy Pocket (at 8) ,Daughter of the Moon Godess (very good and a huge vocabulary) now I just started Heart of the Sun Warrior both by Sue Lynn Tan btw. Can u recommend me any books?
@@iammell1 oooo you should totally read ‘The never ending Story’ if you haven’t (it’s a fantasy kinda book) and it’s amazing, it’s my favourite book ever lol And the good girls guide to murder series is pretty good as well
I feel like the book Our Dark Duet was a roller coaster of no's why's Yes's yays, omgs and noooos That book was a reall plot twist on many parts. The ending made me sad and mad
i’m reading a good girl’s guide to murder rn. i’m on about page 200 & i really like it so far! i have to babysit in 30 mins but i think i’m gonna keep reading it after!
pov he named off all of your favorite books!! but i think that book 2 to the inheritance games has a little more twists than the first hit the whole series is sooo good
I love the inheritance games so much!!!!!! I just read it about a month ago and OMFG. THE END IS ABSOLUTELY BATSHIT INSANE. If you haven't read it, it's definitely a must-read for anyone who likes mystery romances
@@LaraCoors I mean, it seemed pretty typical of a teen novel to have such an obvious murderer. Maybe I've just seen too many different plots that it was easier to predict.
i recommend inheritance games to everyone. it is AMAZING. it includes puzzles and mysteries and the best part is the romance in this book. it is written so well and makes you so attached
@@bsgenerator I mean I did not predict Elliot but her sister? yeah the moment they talked about her and did not ask anything until the very end it was dumb and obv *IMO*
And red queen That book had me tearing up bc of the plot twist, gives ✨trust issues✨ Please put a spoiler before your comment if your gonna say something ab it :))
omg I js forgot abt Harry Potter somehow what-- lol Harry Potter is literally so good istg and the plot twist at the end was THE BEST like---- "always" - Severus like I was crying at that its the best
As someone who has read A good girls guide to murder, I can say the the plot twist is 100 % worth it!! I have also read One of us is lying which is the book before one of us is next! I would also recommend that book as the plot twist SHOCKED me!
