Thank you Daniel. I had no idea how much I needed to choke on my tea at you chaotically huffing tropical fumes. But in all sincerity, I've been a bit stressed over medical things, and this video has been the first thing today to make me laugh.

Is it perfume, are you supposed to just smell it? Why it sponsoring the fantasy book guy lol. It just seems like such a strange audience to target with smells.

@@bobertobobino2372 I dunno, Powels City of Books in Portland has their own perfume. It smells... like books. Don't ask me how they did that, but they did. And it sells.

To add to this, there’s weirdness around his birth. Percy’s birthday is at the end of summer, but his parents are said to have met at the start of summer and only been together for one summer. Which means either his birth was extremely premature, extremely postmature, or his parents met in the southern hemisphere.

@@AHealthyDoseofFran Percy says he's 12 in the Lightning Thief. Sea of Monsters happens the next summer so he's 13. Titan's Curse takes place that winter, which means Percy would've already turned 14 in August. In BoTL he's still 14 and we see him celebrate his 15th birthday in the last chapter. And the Last Olympian is set in August of the next year so he's 15 for the most part and turns 16 towards the end. The events of Heroes of Olympus take place the next June-August (except for the Lost Hero in the previous winter) and so Percy continues being 16 and would turn 17 in the upcoming weeks after Blood of Olympus. Trials of Apollo starts from January of the next year meaning Percy is now canonically *17 years old* until we have more books that take place after August. Rick is not very clear when it comes to the ages of his characters (see Nico, for example) but the one time he was very clear was with Percy.

Same but my bookshelf is just the top of my computer desk. I use my reader for most reading.

I know for a fact he would hate my shelves, because I make zero effort to make them aesthetically pleasing 😂 but at least there's no knackage and certainly no Funkos!
