We ended up at black squirrel for the first time a couple weeks ago (cause I always forget art of bean is closed on Sundays) and they had such similar vibes for coffee which I loved ❤
Bunny was next level ABSURD for me lol I loved pineapple street - I feel like nothing actually happened plot wise but I was somehow still intrigued lol & so it felt like a quick read. I love a rich family drama vibe
good afternoon from a fellow bookish girlie!! 💓 i’m going to be doing lots of book shopping in April because there’s a ton of new releases, so watching this makes me excited!
I am so glad someone mentioned this! Tom Lake as an audiobook is exceptional. Meryl Streep narrates it in such a way that you forget that it is a fictional book by Ann Patchett and not Meryl Streep’s memoir. She is spectacular. I listened only but wish that I had read the physical copy along with the audiobook to annotate it too. Great haul!
I need to go to a lot of these places. I’ve been to Spaniel’s Tale and Black Squirrel but not the others. I think there is one French bookstore too which I want to go to. I do wish other bookstores had more French book options.
You look so pretty I love the ponytail. I just got a book from the little bitty library and it was brand new in excellent condition it's called First lie wins everyone has been talking about it so I was excited to get it. Awesome video.
Hey Carter, I’m not a new reader but I am a new kindle owner and loving it! Could you incorporate how to stay on top of kindle deals, etc? I am finding this challenging.
Honestly, I read every single day, so I just make it a habit when I turn on my Kindle that I check the Kindle deals before reading! Takes me literally two seconds!!
Carter , this 🛍️🧥 thrift store jacket is so cute . You are very lucky🪄 . You have such a peaceful vibe 😌 I was very happy when I saw this video 🙂 . We would see your book ratings⭐️⭐️ These bookstore videos and thrift store videos are amazing🤩pls visit more . Thank you 🥰 we discover beautiful places 🥳 Please read the pineapple book and the friendship books first , their covers look very cute , . I'm very curious about both of them . I wait for your comments . 🦮🐕🦺🌸🫶🏻Have a great day 🤗
Hi, good morning! I’m so glad this video popped up on my homepage. I can’t wait to subscribe and follow along to another booktuber! This is such a fun video. cheers & happy reading!
Do you have a video where you discuss the inheritance games? And if so, do you know what video it is? I’ve just started the series and really want to know your thoughts! (Assuming you’ve read it)
@@CarterSullivan Also! I’ve read all of Mona Awad’s books and Bunny is excellent/weird. Rouge was SO exhaustingly weird but I really enjoyed All’s Well. And if you loved Seven Husbands, I strongly recommend Play it As it Lays by Joan Didion at some point. Thanks for the great book haul video!
If I ever find it, I will share it with you guys!! I honestly feel like I have a lot to say on reading getting popular again🥲 I feel like some people aren't in it for the right reasons and are just using it as a bit of a claim to fame on social media or because its "trendy" but that's a story for another time hahah
@@CarterSullivan I feel the same! I feel like I have connected with more people through reading in my adulthood, but also struggle because I feel like there has been a rise of exactly what you said! I also struggle because there has just been a rise of books I'm just not a fan of and that seems to be alllllll that's recommended lol. like booktok is actually crazy sometimes with the drama and that's i much prefer my book videos on youtube from you and reagan!
@@SydneyRider14 the fact that you just put me and Regan in the same sentence is literally the biggest compliment ever because she is my comfort creator🥹🥹
Small Things Like These actually changed me. It was devastating but so beautiful. I love all her stories, and recommend Foster by her as well. Sorrowfully beautiful pieces. Have been meaning to get my hands on physical copies of both, lucky you 🫶
