Yay, another baby! I wish you'd do a kids' books video one day with them. (But I totally understand if it's not workable or you/your wife don't want the kids on the interwebs.) I forget which KSR book I began reading and just couldn't get into it. But "Shaman" sounds so original and interesting! I think this is the first time hearing about it. Maybe I'll see if it's at the library. As to "privilege", everybody is privileged in one way or another. And much of what is called privilege these days is simply good consequences resulting from good life choices. Much of what is called "oppression" these days is poor results from poor life choices. Don't let today's silly culture put undeserved guilt on you. /soapbox Anyway, all the best to your family. I'm a nanny, and I don't know how folks with kids get anything done, much less reading!
