Great question! Jackie is Global #2 and not far behind and running out of Powder Bottles. If Global #1 would just let up for a day or two, Jackie could get his Gold Ring and drop his push and Global #1 could then go back to doing his thing, and everyone would be happy. As it is, Jackie is the highest player in several years in Victory Points, not to be Global #1, because the current Global #1 won’t let him go by him even for a day or two.

Yes, the longer you hold the Global #1 position, the more articulated your Gold Ring becomes until you reach Max at 89 days. The counter is cumulative however and so if you drop out of Global #1 for a day or two it does not reset or impact your counter. The 89 days could be over multiple different pushes.

Yes, easily. I just didn’t have the time to wait him out for hours on end and occasionally something goes wrong with an attack like that (e.g. Kavan steps on a Boom Mine)! The tiniest little thing can blow up one of these attacks, so I built in a large margin of safety,

I assume that he shifted his Statues temporarily to clear his map in an attempt to catch up to Jackie. He will likely shift them back before he goes offline.
Hey zues I also have a question on how you know when someone attacks you. You said that if you fail your attack he will stay on. Is there a notification you get when you are attacked and if so how? Always wondered why when i fail an attack some one is immediately on
If you try to log on during an attack, you must wait up to 5 minutes for the attack to end. They are just waiting for the attack to end and then they can block you by staying online. They aren’t notified of an attack. They are just checking frequently to see if they are being attacked.

Not a boom beach player & obviously clash of clans isn't the same but what do you mean by allowing someone else to be global #1, does that not go against the competitive integrity of the leaderboard? I'm sure it's not the same as legend league but if you allowed someone to get #1 in clash of clans it would surely be called cheating.
A great question! I’ve never played CoC so don’t know how that works. It takes a huge effort to be Main Base Global #1 in Boom Beach on a sustained basis. For example, 2-4 hours of sleep per day maximum for half a year. Online consistently at least every 19 minutes all day that you are awake. Impressive talent skills. My long standing observation is that all of that is a minimum requirement, yet even that is not enough. It actually cannot be done without allies who assist you. Without allies you cannot progress past a certain point. Usually after being Global #1 for a period of time, it is polite to let others who have helped you themselves achieve Global #1 status, if even only for a minute or a day or 7 days.
A great question! This is a fight between the leader of a Chinese coalition and the rest of the world. I don’t know why the Chinese leader is doing this. He is not saying why he is doing what he is doing.
