To be honest, I’ve always felt bad for elderly people. Not once in history has the world changed so drastically between generations. In if you step back and look at technology in comparison to the world prior, it’s nearly unbelievable. To have your way of life, your culture, uprooted in a matter of a few decades isn’t something most people in history have had to deal with. As someone who grew up with technology, it’s crazy to imagine a world without it, but that’s what a lot of them remember. A world without tv, the internet, technological conveniences, or even the widespread of cars. They can be a handful for sure, but I get it. I think most are in a constant state of shell shock. I know I’d be if everything I grew up with swiftly became obsolete.

To be fair I let it beep twice so I know it is actually done reading the card, I've lost enough saves to know better.

The very first chip readers didnt have that obnoxious beeping sound, it was a one single Beep. They changed it so the elderly can understand to remove the card . It didn't work
