This new for 2013 Vekoma boomerang opens to the public on Saturday, June 8th and we were fortunate to get a preview ride. The relocation refurbishment has this classic coaster running just like when it originally opened as Flashback at Six Flags Over Texas in 1989.
Six Flags St. Louis is located near St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri.

Fun ride. I rode it yesterday. I like that the cobra roll is out over the path and waiting area. Nice addition to the park and nicely placed.

Yep, Vekoma's built at least 45 Boomerangs, in four different variations. Traditional like this one, Invertigo like the one at Kings Island, Giant Inverted, and Family.

I went on this in Worlds Of Fun in Kansas City and it was my first coaster. Looking forward to riding this in May when I go to SF STL to see if it's any different.

On the first lifthill, it's a cable pushing it back, but on the second lifthill, it's a chainlift.

I rode this ride years ago, before it was called Boomerang. When there was a Kentucky Kingdom, before Six Flags. And it was fun as hell.

I went there yesterday and my cousin who is 7 years old and 3 years younger then me rode this and batman and I didn't ride them😂 I rode the wooden rollercoasters though and the boss looks so much scarier then what is actually is. it's so much fun and you don't even get that feeling in your stomach on the drops!

Here in Brazil had a park named Playcenter had a roller coaster that only the park was closed and the Roller Coaster to costa rica

when I rode this on my second time going with the middle school in 8th grade in may 2014 this rollercoaster made me dizzy on the inside and I couldn't go on anymore rides at the end of the day

The most disappointing thing to me that St Louis didn't keep like this ride had in Texas was the lights on it. I really liked those red lights on it at night at Over Texas.

***** Really? My dad tells me the ninja, because once you ride that, you can ride anything! He says it's rickety as all hell, but it works. I want to go on a looping coaster, but this one looks scary due to it going backwards...

Kylie McDonald Ninja is a good starter looping coaster. The best ones are easily Batman and Mr. Freeze. They give your the most adrenaline.

The ride itself is fun, but the shoulder restraints are too small. I'm not even that tall (about 6ft) and I felt very squeezed in my seat. Still a fun coaster

+jake smith Probably not. Six Flags will give certain people permission to film on the coasters, but there are all sorts of regulations surrounding it. Your standard park guest does not have this permission, so they can't.

It's funny how the boomerang coaster is named after an aboriginal Australian weapon. But Australia doesn't own a single boomerang coaster. Fairly sad though
