burtis62 why would they root for cosolix? every match he just continues proving he’s a overall pretty bad player. the only reason he’s in tournaments is because lance is a very strong and very easy to use weapon. cosolix plays like a high plat player at best
@@xelus9793 no his Lance in unmatched. I'm all honestly Lance is very annoying but it isn't as good anymore. When slight recovery was true thats when it was amazing but for 1v1 its kinda trash. Other players don't have enough experience fighting against his unique pkay style of lance nc no one else fights like him. Others players don't condition their opponents. Hes 100% awful with anything besides a lance and his hammer isn't too bad but nc of how good his lance is and bc other pros really don't know how to fight it due to lack of exposure make it difficult for them to know how to win

But if I'm speaking the community's language, I'll probably say: lance takes no skill. scythe is great. axe sucks i want to die, Cosolickmyass, Codick Crevice, Isidragg, Sensodyne, Ethanol, etc.

Octxzio I get what you’re saying but you gotta admit lance is pretty broken. Cosolix can’t use any weapon besides lance due to how easy it is to win with. You could pull off a whole string on your opponent and he could simply do 2 hits and deal the same amount of damage. Not to mention nair does a great amount of damage alone and it covers all around the player which is pretty dumb. Cosolix says that if you nerf nair on lance then lance will be unplayable. That’s not true, all it’s doing is making a a weapon a little more read based. Lance is easy to use therefore reads is not really important because all lance has to do is slight-nair but cosolix is afraid of a nerf because then it’ll require him to actually start reading his opponent
Lol Lol You're saying it is easy to use but do you play it ? I am an Orion main and i can tell you that's really not easy to play ( personally scythe and pistols are the only weapons who are more difficult to play than lance ) its why i play spear 3/4 times. I had the same conversation with someone else in this commentary section and he gave me an argument that lance is broken because it change your playstyle way more than other weapons but it is the only sens of broken we could put on lance for me. And if it was so easy to play why Cosolix is the only one who play lance in this tournament ( the only person who can go as far ) ? And yes cosolix is right if they nerf the nair the weapon will the worse weapon in this game cuz the only reasons why lance is good are nair and the reach of the weapon.
Octxzio I’ve played lance I’ve went up to diamond with lance, it’s a carry weapon I didn’t even have to read anyone due to how easy it is. And if they nerf nair it won’t be the worse weapon in the game, it’ll just require skills instead of carrying. He’s complaining because his weapon (might) get a nerf but every single weapon sandstorm has played has been nerfed to the ground and he didn’t complain he simply chose a different weapon and the fact that he can still destroy with weapons that aren’t good anymore says a lot while with cosolix, all I see is his building up so much damage with a few hits and if he by chance gets his lance taken then the opponent is already low enough to get killed by anything which is the only time he uses anything but lance. If he picks up another weapon besides lance he immediately throws it away because he knows that he has to read his opponent and he’s not capable of doing so

I disagree with you, lance isn't an unfair disavantage because boomie can play it too, and it has some very hard matchups like "lance vs axe" (watch a cosolix vs cody travis match and you'll understand how) :) I respect your opinion though

@@octxzio8822 Everyone else gets annoyed by lance and doesnt feel any satisfaction playing it, thus most ppl dont even bother practicing lance. Therefore, due to lack of training, it has become for most ppl a weapon that doesnt feel comfortable to use

Well, I mean those are lance's combos, why isn't anyone complaining about boomie using nearly just slight --> dlight and slight --> sair on orb I mean, I understand your way of thinking but all weapons have their combos and it's not cosolix who made those the main lance combos, and besides every weapon basically have 1/2 combos that are "bread and butter" (spear slight dlight - canon dlight dair - hammer dlight slight - nearly all sword's combos start with dlight - bow dlight nair/sair...) so why all of this ?

lances entire kit is extremely overturned. too many good options out of slight. nair is a 360 spammable hitbox and sair has extreme utility in returning to stage and force
slight dair stops being true during yellow. slight rec and slight sair are NOT true combos. slight nair is the only consistent true combo on lance. sair is alright for coming back to the stage but other weapons like gauntlets and cannon also have arguably better options to come back. Lance recovery is the best rec in the game ONLY if your opponent just refuses to EVER try and punish it. Lance off stage is not very good against most weapons. also nair is 180 degrees
Ur joking right? Most pros think that orb is super overtuned and that lance is mid tier rn. Boomie was literally using the better character and lost get over it. The only decent moves on lance are dlight and nair, and they aren’t good enough to pull it above mid tier

All he uses is lance and no other weapon. Like comeon, people think that his 0 to death combos r op, he’ll nah, I nearly did a 0 to death combo when I first used lance and I can do a complete one now. Many people hate him when he just uses lance, he isn’t an interesting player to watch. People don’t like him cause lance doesn’t take skill at all and that his gameplays aren’t intense. squadra I like cosolix’s content but like u know how he plays lance only, it’s just annoying to watch him go in a tournament and make boring movements. Even if he’s not playing in tournaments he still uses lance ONLY in a 1v1. When I was gold I used to be one of those Diana players using bow only, sidelight, downlight nsig. But I stopped cause people said it took no skill so I had to work my ass off to play blasters. Why can’t cosolix do the same with other weapons? He will go in most of his fans montage videos
