lit_plug44 honestly i like sandstorm better than cosolix but I just want to see cosolix win once against him for a change cause every time I see them going against each other I always know who won already which is why I kinda stopped watching sandstorm games
For the Devs reading the comments: It would be cool if every player who has reached level 100 with one legend would get a kind of achievement/reward. Like a skin or special color.
Imma just assume that yall love to diss Cosolix Edit: My point was proven Edit 2: Now you can all go watch Cosolix's newest video and see why he uses a lot of nairs. Lance is a slow weapon with little to no kill potential. Nair is just its only redeeming quality
i mean lance nair isn't really fun to watch or play against, but this *is* a tournament, so i don't think "nair spam ree" is a valid complaint if you're not the one playing in the match
In my opinion, this was honestly a wonderful and exciting match to witness. It went right down to the wire. Both Cosolix and Sandstorm were cold and calculated with their decisions while also adjusting to one another's play style. It's always great when it isn't apparent who is going to win just by getting a quick glimpse of the length of the video. Bravo to both players!

I'm willing to enjoy his style because everybody masters every other weapon in the tournament scene besides lance. Sure everyone hates lance, but I can put my own salt aside to enjoy competitive gameplay with one of the few successful main lance players in the tournament scene.
lance is ridiculous compared to most weapons. just because a move is good and provides decent coverage, doesn’t mean you should spam it whenever you dont know what else to do.

I respect Cosolix’s skills, but I hate seeing 90% lance nair in a set. He’s not playing for our entertainment, I know, I’m just stating my opinion: he’s boring to watch and I only see him play 1 weapon ever. Sandstorm pulled out a Koji in Grand Finals and won, that’s what I like about his style. He’s so good and so unpredictable, you know that if there’s Sandstorm it’s gonna be a ride. Sadly, that doesn’t apply to Cosolix for me. And no, one 0 to death is not enough to be entertaining when all you do in neutral is nair
just seeing the 2 first macho man match makes me fell angry against Cosolix , there is so much to change in a balance patch about almost every weapons , it's getting worse everytimes
I can't believe Cosolix lost this. So sad that he went the whole year without taking a set off sandy when there were heart-wrenching sets like this where he pretty much gets a 3 stock and the other 4 matches are all close but he loses in the end. Reminds me a lot of most viewed Brawlhalla set with Boomie vs Sandstorm in Winners Finals where boomie gets a 3 stock and the other 4 matches were really close but he still lost to sandstorm 2-3.
Okimura except that most of the player base is below plat, sure popular opinion can say a lot, but not when it’s from most people who aren’t decent at the game. Most of the player 40% or something like that is in silver. Ask any pro player and they’ll say lance is no where near the best weapon right now

I mean if even the greatest player in the whole wide world has a problem with the weapon it no longer is a matter of being good or bad at the game. The problem is the weapon. PS: Cosolix wouldn't make it to top 100 if they deleted lance. He's not a good player and players like Stingray prove it.
No matter what you cannot antagonize his gameplay, as annoying as it may look like to fight against these are players that both know what theyre doing, gauntlet, cannon and axe are just as intimidating to either player
@@jacobrosales9290 a bunch of nair by one pro doesn't beat 5 cannons from other pros. Who play cannon you might ask? Sandstorm, Boomie, Phazon, Acno, Pavelski, and that's not even counting 2v2.
People are saying Cosolix was spamming nair... but he from the first game alone, *Sandstorm used almost as many side lights*. Both are light attacks, but using canon sidelight a lot of times in a row doesnt register as spam for most ppl. Maybe it's just how lance nair looks bigger, is louder, or is slower (looks closer to a sig)... keep that in mind before jumping on someone for "spamming". Nobody noticed how Sandstorm did almost as many side lights, so don't penalize Cosolix for using a move that's easier to notice.
Anyone who hates on cosolix bc he uses a move should be buried alive. No one thinks you are cool. Hes a great player and with his reading ability can play loads if weapons.
Ahmad Zubir I tried playing lance once but i really didn’t feel it no matter how hard i practice. I kept losing match after match but yeah let’s just all agree that lance bad ooga booga spam spam no skill ooh ooh
They both played well, cosolix has a different way of playing which was good at the start till sandstorm learned how to play against it in the end and won
sandstorm played like ass this set he was wiffing the easiest punishes and the only reason he struggled against lance when he had gauntlets was because he kept trying to punish with nlight which wasnt reaching lances spacing like it does against most players, he couldve just daired and it wouldve reached but he kept making the same mistake. here's what I'm talking bout: 5:24
I understand where people are coming from complaining about lance, I get it it’s annoying to play against. But these guys are the pros, if it was really as broken at the highest level as everyone says there would probably be more than just Cosolix and Sting Ray. Feel free to add your thoughts. Just putting it out there that lance is just easier to learn and get good with than other weapons but a lower skill ceiling
Lance is as good as they say it is, I bet the reason more pros don't play it is because there is already people much better and they don't want be a douche bag and abuse a broken weapon like that. It's even worse considering that cosolix is not just only using Lance but also spamming the Nair. Lance is objectively broken, I'm not biased either I main scythe and Lance so I get where people are coming from on both sides of the spectrum. But sadly there's no denying that hating Lance saying its broken is completely viable.

justLineart not really telling him to switch weapons it's just the play style that deserves the hate. He could play lance all he wants but it's just not a weapon that takes skill.
You gotta give cosolix his respect for being a top player 100 percent. His movement and recognition are top tier. But I can’t stand to see him play with lance id argue for a major Jaír rework you can’t nerf that entire force field of a hitbox enough
Cosolix chokes so hard every set against Sandy, to my knowledge Sandstorm is 7-0 vs Cosolix which is so weird when you see how close their matches can be.
I respect Cosolix because he is a pro player. However, it would be nice to see him play something other than lance. I'm not hating on him, I just am tired seeing him do the same lance things everytime. I don't like how he played lance this set tho, he used Nair 90% of the time. It wasn't pleasant to watch I don't hate lance. I play lance myself.

Y are people hating on Cosolix just because he uses an easy weapon and because he spams nair? Lance is not even considered a good weapon. Canon is way better than lance but I see no one hating on sandstorm. Cosolix does what he has to do to win even if he has to spam and I respect that. I’m just saying Cosolix shouldn’t get hate just because of he’s damn play style.

cosolix does have skill. he knows how to read with the lance but sometimes he only plays to pick them while sandstorm or boomie plays to like make a really cool gimp or entertain is instead of spamming a nair everytime
Ahmad Zubir I mean if you play ONE weapon for years obviously your other weapon is going to be weak but that one weapon you play for years is gonna be insane, and also he plays orb on occasion and he looked like he could play it at a high level
