Chris - it's absolutely not "silly" doing something that you enjoy doing and that gives you pleasure. We all need to have some kind of mental release and chill out time. Especially as you work so hard during the day. I must say I have always enjoyed "Tiny Homes" and watching, knowing it was "your creation", makes it more special. 🦋

Chris, you did a very wonderful job on this video. I especially admired the fluidity and transitions of your shots while you integrated your story into this video. As your relationship is developing with Linnea, it is special to see this relational facet of your life and how it is impacting your own creativity. Again, I respect the underlying themes of authenticity, vulnerability and self-care both you and Linnea carry forward in your videos. It is so important. I believe there are “influencers” in Social Media then there are “inspirationalists” (yes, lol - I made that word up) who are not afraid to say to the world “It’s okay that I’m not perfect yet I choose to every day follow my better angels to fight the good fight!” I believe you and Linnea are both “inspirationalists.” Be Blessed 🌻🐝

Chris, it seems that u need a little more human contact once in awhile more so than Linea. Good for u for recognizing that u need sport like activity for ur mental health & u execute it. Great video, see u in the next one...

It's awesome that you have a hobby that is pretty easy to take with you wherever you go. & Linnea's mugs look amazing! I really appreciate how you two compromise around each other's needs and wants so that you each thrive in your own ways. & I have to say seeing the babies reunite.. too freaking cute! I feel like Akela is almost pickier that even Linnea.. so the fact that she loves Kobuk(sp?) is just so sweet. Really enjoying these vlogs. & Love the podcast format videos too! Haha...nerds gotta nerd! It's so nice getting to see some "day-in-the-life"s from your side of things, Chris! (If you can't tell, I've wandered over from Linnea's channel, which initially enchanted me about a year ago.) I'm definitely going to have to show this one to my guy, because he's been known to nerd out with card games every now and again. Y'all are so inspiring while we're trying to finish breaking loose from all the muck of conventional life. :) Thanks for sharing your journey with us all! Side note: It's shaping up that we may well be heading out to some land in southern Utah (Blue Valley/Fremont River area) within the next year, so it's cool to see you guys out there enjoying that corner of the country!

Omg Magic is not silly, I promise. It is a wonderful mind exercise in critical thinking, reading comprehension, strategy and MATH! My son is nearly 2 and I am chomping at the bit to teach him how to play.

Its so cool that you're doing BJJ to combat depression. I loved it when i did it, unfortunately our gym shut down after the lockdowns in NZ. At one stage our whole fam was training and my autistic son was doing the bullyproof programme. He loved it. The fact that you’re going to a Gracie gym is so awesome 🙌

That's a beautiful area you are staying in. I also was involved in Judo about 50 years ago at Colorado State University. I wasn't that great, but I only lost one match while competing. Fellow students asked how I did this. I told them that I also took a mental approach to each match....that is... if I lost ....I am dead. Guess you could say I died once. Had to give up judo due to a bad back. But many years later...when I would stumble and fall...I would relax and break my fall "natrually" without even thinking all due to that training. Take care. This is a great video and no it is not nerdy at all, I got into Magic back when Alpha & Beta sets first came out. Still have my decks and building some new commander decks as well, so not nerdy at all and we all need a pass time

Strange question Chris...how much power would you say Starlink uses per hour? And is yours still AC or did you get the DC converter? Have you ever had someone make a lot of noise near you while you have been working? Planning to work on the road but need quiet for my job...hoping it's not too big of a issue. I don't know if you've heard...but nerds are hot! LOL. No need to apologize for having a variety of interests. It's the people that stick to what they think society calls normal that I worry about...but doing something you find joy in is always worth the time. Sorry to hear about the depression. I generally get mild seasonal depression but this year for some reason it was/is ruff! Walking, fresh air, and sunshine definitely helps. Stay strong and loving the content!
