The Boost Industries CM-2355M offers you the possibility to mount your TV in the ceiling. Press a button on your remote control and the TV quietly and smoothly flips down to position you want. This ceiling mount can fold for saving space and available for pitched ceiling installation. Adjust the height and angles of your TV for optimal viewing position and reduced glare. It supports most 23"-55" monitors up to 30kg/66lbs and the strength has been tested for a minimum of three times its stated load capacity.

Maybe this will be a stupid question... Is it not problem for the smart tv if hanging down with the screen all day? Usually people use the tv at evening and the engineers design the tv in a normal standing mode. What is your opinion? Is it not make a shorter life time for my tv?

The components in the back of these TVs aren't at any risk of shifting or 'flowing' to cause any type of damage due to not standing upright. It's largely a bunch of circuit boards back there

flat panel display technology is pretty ignorant to orientation, much like the screen on your smartphone or laptop. Everything in a modern smart tv is solid state so orientation should not matter at all.

The guy pushes the TV up towards ceiling - TV moves down. The guy pushes TV the TV goes to flat up position. BUT HOW HARD DO I PUSH? FROM THE CENTER? MIDDLE? So, why does this, and others, not rotate down the full 90 degrees so the face is vertical??? What idiot made this decision that we all will have high ceilings, and won't want to look horizontally at the screen?? Stupid and frustrating. I cannot find ONE the will do that AND handle a 60" TV.

Just an opinion, but if i understand what you are planning, I'd be more concerned with the tv screen itself handling the vibrations while hanging flat.

If the freaking ceiling studs/joists whatever you call them are usually 16” apart why in the world make the mount holes 18” apart ? Who is the genius who designs this shit?
