Just finished this little project- Only had a chance for a quick little test drive... Seems to come on boost earlier in low rpm driving... Did 2 20-60 rolls and seems to perhaps be up on power slightly, but mainly not dropping boost as much between shifts- We'll see how she does later in normal driving conditions-
Question on T fitting @4:00, instead of capping it could you not route the intake hose to that end of the T? Instead of cutting the line on solenoid and using another T or Y there? Sorry I know it’s an old video just trying to track down an issue. Thanks
is it possible for this mod to hurt the dodge dart or fiat 500 engine at all in the life of the vehicle? also i plan on adding an oil catch can where would i add that to the line between the check valve and the cai attachment? i think this mod is a great idea i just wonder why the engineers of chrysler and fiat would have designed a boost leak into the system. i just want my car to last as long as it can. any thoughs would be greatly appreciated
OK I just did this on my 13 dart and my only question is the last line you put the two rubber plugs on why not remove the whole line as there’s nothing else on it and just cap off of the boost tube instead of the two cops right there that’s my only question I just pulled the whole tube out and capped mine at the source but other than that seems to be a great fix I’ll put some miles on and see how it goes
My Abarth is None stock, on Dyno it showed me 170 whp , i was waiting for more, but i had some boost leak problems last time. From the 3rd gear to 5 gear boost is getting low, from 24psi to 18 psi on high revs 5-6rpm. I also had PCV problem. Do you have any idea what will be there?
i have a 2013 dart turbo 2 weeks after i bought it the check engine light came on dealer hooked up to it and it came back undefined .since then i put in ijen hot &cold intercooler pipes and injen short ram air intake .i have 67000 miles on it the check engine light comes on about every 300 to 400 miles which is once a weeks for me .dealer has no idea what it is , will the boost leak fix mod fix this problem??
Is this kit still available or dose anyone know we’re I can get it or the pieces to make my own if I had the diagram of how this was being hooked up I can piece together
@@TorkMotorsports I have a 2014, how much do they cost? I just ordered the intake Sunday, I can pay through the website or PayPal you straight across. Or if you're feeling gratuitous, my birthday is Thursday hahaha
With my GFB DV+ my boost pegs at 18-20 psi on the stock tune and stays there until the fun is over. Is this really necessary after putting the DV+ on the car, because I'm not seeing boost drop off anymore.

see how hes being all rough with those connections? thats what i worry about when bringing my car to someone else to work on...i need to fuckin learn how to work on my fiat :/
I am confused... if another shop were being ruff, or if we were being ruff with a connector and broke it, we would replace it. Been doing this for 30 + years... and the number of quick connects that I have broken I can count on one hand. I would be willing to bet that someone learning how to do this, would break more than an experienced technician.
