Subscribed. I was sent here by M2C directly! I’m going to try your hinge pin mod on my v2.5. I’m going on my 4th chassis in a month! I wouldn’t say Arma fixed the hinge pin problem, but I’m hoping you did!

yeah i was pretty bad in the beginning of the v2 being released even with a bash bar i still broke one i finally had enough and went to the longer 6s pins and using m2c hardened pins with 7075 retainers have helped a bunch feel free to watch my 4s kraton v2 videos ever since this fix its been solid only breaking battery straps but i fixxed that now too.... thanks for subscribing

Had a good test run with the new M2’s pins and blocks today, couple real bad landings and hard hits on both ends. Broke a shock end but that was the extent of it. Prior to the hinge pin mod I am certain these guys would have ripped the pins out again. Thinking about pulling the trigger on this new chassis brace now since it’s live on the M2C site, I’m starting to really like this truck. What are you using for batt straps? I have broken mine as well.

Yeah man idk if you seen the hinge pin mod video I just made b4 this one but this brace an those pins I do to all my 3s/4s cars I'm just happy to know ARRMA listens to our feedback an corrected some things from the v2 to this v2.5

Happy they are coming out with this so soon. I have one on my v2. I wanted to get the new kraton v2.5 and was hoping they make all the good parts. Love the 4s line, but it needs the bash bar and motor mounts imo to be solid.

Agreed well idk about the motor mount ARRMA finally fixed that issue with the v2 for the most part it's thicker now for all the cars an as long as you keep a stock size motor it can usually handle it.... they already have the center diff motor mount available on the website an the Mojave chassis bar the v2.5 should be available really soon

I have also got my Outcast 4S v2.5 a few days ago and also ordered the new m2c chassis brace. I noticed that the included bulk head screws don´t fit flush in their holes when you look from above on the bulkheads where the ends of the screws are visible. Is this the correct behaviour? I am not sure to keep it that way.. How look yours @RC4us ?

Im not sure i understand all my screws are flush with the brace theirs only 2 front and 2 rear screws that are longer that goes thru the bulkhead they also come with spacer to fill the hole where the stock was like counter sunk...if you have facebook look me up and send me a message glad to help

When jumping, most damage occurs at the rear. Why was the rear part excluded?

The front and rear are tied together with the upper bulkheads the front was only added as a skid for when coming into a ramp at high speed as your front suspension loads the moment you hit the ramp slamming the front into the ramp

This works for all the plastic chassis cars and the v2 4s KRATON and OUTCAST where the main reason for this mod so YES v2 kraton

@@owen8538 a long time ago they were but they switched to this style so it's easier more secure and if you break a screw it's easy to remove

@@owen8538 well the reason I know longer own a maxx is because mine broke every single pack biggest POS I've ever had and my sledge needed about 2k in upgrades just to have a fun tough power rig that's after a almost 800$ price tag

@@owen8538 it's 6061 we tested a few different metals including 7075 but for flex and durability and a price point the 6061 was the best option you get just the right amount of flex with 7075 it's to stiff and causes the bulkhead to strip the screws
