Awesome question! I haven’t set any concrete goals, I’ve always been a little out of cardio shape when the open comes around, so I want to improve there. I think I’d love to make it to round 2! We’ll see very soon if that’s realistic!
Great video. Looking for my first electric skateboard with no skateboarding experience since I was a kid. Torn between the Wowgo 3 and the Wowgo 2S Max. Any thoughts?
Both are great boards! The Wowgo 3 is much more flexible, and made for maybe a more casual experience with carving in mind. The Wowgo 2S Max has a higher top speed, and range, but has a stiffer board. I personally love the flex on the 3, and how much it absorbs bumps. Obviously you know the one I chose 😉 but both are great!
@@ConnorFotsch Thanks for the quick response. Last two questions: (1) Do you think the more flexible board is safer for inexperienced riders? (I'm 55 and want to minimize my chances of falling.) (2) Now that you've had your Wowgo 3 for a while, do you think it's almost as good as a boosted or do you simply like it because it's quieter. (I've seen other reviews claiming belts make for a better/more comfortable ride than hub motors.)
@@TLCampbell24 great questions. I think all in all, the boosted board was a bit better. But to me, it’s like driving a different car than you’re use to. Gas pedal and brakes always are subtly different. My recommendation would be the Wowgo 2S max! I think a bit stiff board, that is also wider is great for a beginner! Also it has different modes so you can keep it safe speed wise. 2S Max would be my pick for you 👊
Just ran into your channel. Huge fan of Casey. Huge fan of Sam (Casey's former studio neighbor)? Looks like you're on your way, Brother. Only challenge Sam had and I as well, with Casey being a role model to many people, and mostly kids, he never wore a helmet. If you get big like these other RU-vidrs do, set the example when riding the electric skateboard (or whatever). Would hate for you to be the indirect cause of someone, or some kid, really getting hurt because they didn't wear a helmet. Just my 2¢ on the issue. Not surprised unfortunately. Sadly I don’t see us getting another “boosted esc” electric skateboard anytime soon. The quality from the build, to the support, was that I’d say mirrors Apple. Sorry to hear that happened
I just checked the website and it looks like they don't set the 3 anymore, only the 3x. Good option for belt-less would be the WOWGO 2S MAX. Heard great things
