The backfire was 100% faster at accelerating but camilo left like 2 seconds early in every race

According to SkateMetric's measurements, WowGo 3 performs a little better than the Backfire G2T in their 5-15 mph times. (See here: www.reddit.com/r/ElectricSkateboarding/comments/c2c8ls/skatemetric_impressive_wowgo_3_benchmark_results/ ) In this video I was confused by the results because I didn't notice that Camilo always started off the line about a half second too early. After seeing SkateMetric's measurements and considering weight difference and Camilo cheating, the results make sense! Revel kit vs best $700 complete board(w/flex). What should I get with a $700 budget? I have a dead V1 Boosted board that I failed at fixing. So I can use the nice flexy deck with Revel kit. Intrigued by the direct drive tech. I want a good range. Swappable batteries is a big plus in my mind. What would you do in my situation. Thanks !

It’s a Bell Super 3R. There’s an updated version, Super Air or something. It’s not great for racing tuck position but otherwise I like it.

It's what we call "excitation" in the battery and where it draws the current. So the unit doesn't always have a "nominal" output.

Hey Daniel - love the videos! How would you recommend dealing with the wobbles on turbo mode for G2T when trying to turn..even slightly? Also please talk about breaking from Turbo mode & why you think it is great.

You can put in harder bushings for the back truck if you’re getting wobbles. Alternatively you can tighten the rear truck but that should be a temporary solution as that would wear out the bushings more quickly.

Mine is a prototype unit for review. According to their website they should have started shipping pre-orders May 15-20. Possible your order is still down the queue.

In 500m to 1km probably not, because G2T’s top speed without Turbo is almost the same as WowGo 3’s. The WowGo probably wouldn’t catch up until the Backfire starts to get low on power. Supposedly Backfire’s Turbo eats up more battery power.

Is the OwnBoard ok? I mean... is Thomas ok? Nice to see u met my German Friend . BTW it depends on how you stand on the board.. when you start acceleration , put the body weight on the back until u reach 25 km/h . After that you put your weight on the front for higher speed . ✅👌🏽
