honestly, the last 'monster' just felt like it was repeatedly using 'But the pokemon didnt want to die!' gimmick again and again, just to say that it supports you and that you are never able to please everyone. And that just makes the scene go 5x harder.

once i saw the skinned morlingon i became really freaked out and disturbed, but the moment i saw Hotako giving a thumbs up with a goofy ass smile i immediately lost it it's so unnecessary and breaks all tension but i can't help but love it

This video has added "certified uncool" and "dine and shine" to my vocabulary, also love how HOTAK0 sends you to what is basically a time-out zone for shooting him.

I don't know if anyone will see this but here goes. HOTAK0 is not the bad guy here. The player is the villain. HOTAK0 specifically says he doesn't hunt animals but rather waits for them to die peacefully. He even hopes that you found them. Granted he could be lying but judging by his general peaceful nature, given that you shot him 3 times and tried to skin him after he offered to share the food. It's understandable that he'd be a little mad

Ok, the monster in the third encounter accepting death and giving us a speech about self-love was quite emotional. HOTAK0 is quite a monster. Also, Poor Chandle…

I like to imagine Brian keeps a jar in his room that he puts a quarter into anytime he finds a creepy game/emulator, and adds an entire dollar whenever the game tries to break his pc. He wouldn't even spend the money on anything, he just keeps it around as a sign of how many times he's screwed his pc over.

I think I understand why the player couldn’t kill Hotako. Since in the regular battles, you can only shoot three times, the player got three chances. But since Hotako was still alive (probably since he runs the game), the skin option wouldn’t work.

This feels like a game i'd play in my dreams and wake up thinking it was real for a split second. very neat

This one is an absolute banger. I really loved the dialogue, it feels like something out of an obscure RPG Maker horror game. The third battle was especially good, the juxtaposition of the out of place reassuring text amidst everything going on is incredibly unnerving in a really unique way; I feel most horror would have the text be about something disturbing or weird, but having it be genuine words of kindness with no context made the whole scene really surreal and unsettling. If you made a full length horror RPG in this style it would be an instant classic.

I gotta say, I love how you designed bootleg pikachu. The added parts of way too many fingers/toes, a butchered ear, that god forbidden face, and a finger for a tail all comes together to make something really unsettling and eerie to look at, even kinda goofy.

I gotta admit, VibingLeaf, saying that I did not expect HOTAK0 to call Brian a "certified uncool" would be an understatement.

Honestly the attitude of the protag in these VibingLeaf videos feel like if real weird anomalous games were uncovered after all the Creepypasta hype of the 2010's. And the protag is so numb and used to such weird stories that when faced with real weird stuff, they're like "kinda weird, 7/10." I love that.
