Macron has every right to mention what he mentioned. And whether NATO like this or not is beside the point. He is speaking as a EU member nation, with an independent army. And this waiting what NATO does, is rather not helping Ukraine much now is it? I am fine not involving NATO in this conflict. But in Europe we aren't moving according to what we want, we want Ukraine to win this conflict. And we want Putin to loose it. Putin drew in Iran, North Korea, and deliveries from China. So it is about time we realise, we do not really have the luxury of waiting anymore. So Macron put's up this balloon to signal, and I think he is fully correct doing so. He never said, Germany has to do the same, or NATO members to do the same, he is talking specifically about what Ukraine needs, what is realism in this conflict, and is saying this at a totally correct moment in time, and in this conflict. It is either now or never, and NATO and nay saying nations, have to realise this. This should already have been discussed and setup, yesterday, so stop wasting time Europe. And for what NATO is, I would not hesitate too much. We should grow our independence from the USA anyway. So what are we waiting for exactly, for Ukraine to loose, or are we going to act appropriately to what we say we want. Ukraine should win this conflict. So start digging?!
