What's sal de gusano?

AKA worm salt, sal de gusano is a traditional Oaxacan spice made from sea salt, toasted and ground agave worms and chile costeño.

Booze FLAVOURED, the alcohol was completely evaporated out, no?

LetsBeClear Alcohol boils at a much lower temperature than water (just googled: 173 degrees Fahrenheit compared with 212 degrees Fahrenheit), so theoretically yes, but the amount of alcohol remaining would depend on the cooking temperature, how long you cooked it and how high the actual alcohol concentration was. it's probably best to make these for adults only. They do look awesome though!!

omg is not that complicated the more you boil it the worst it will be so I would say to just melt the sugar duh
