i always play all random, and the person i always play was complaining that “rock was too weak”. i decided to change one of my abilities from random to rock. i proceeded to have a winning streak of 4, then a win rate of about 75%
Here is a combo that i found really usefull after playing this game for hours with my friends: Tesla coil and smoke makes for a great bomb if you just throw the smoke at the tesla coil
Le smoke also works great with mines. Literally playing minesweeper. Activate one mine and the whole area goes up in flames. Even better is that you can make multiple smoke areas but only put mines in 1 or 2 of them. If the enemy doesn't notice you put down the mines (or forgets about them) then after going thru some smoke without blowing up they won't expect one of those clouds to kill them.
Grapple rock can be better if you know how to use it, because you stay grappled while rocked and cant fall off. You also more around the map a whole bunch and its super hard to dodge.
I love grapple, I go invisible and I tie people to mines, platforms, eachother, or those moving platforms on the space map then they get pulled into the sun. It’s the real best combo.
As someone who only plays the demo (because some of my group doesn't want to buy the full version), dash + rock is the first combo I ever found to work insanely well. It works very will when combined with gust or growth ray too
I don't really like using revive and revive because it feels more like spamming a move than an actual combo. Here is a really fun combo: completely fill a huge area with smoke . Then place a revive in a part without smoke. Then ignite the smoke and most of the time it destroys enemies.
