I’ve fallen into a vortex of never ending Ali g, borat, and brüno videos and I’ve come to the conclusion that I couldn’t be any one of these characters for more than 60 seconds without dying of embarrassment or laughter. This is absolutely insane and SBC is a comedic genius.
He almost broke character in his character Bruno one time. He was at a swing party and a guy was having sex and he wanted the guy to look into his eyes before he cums. The guy went mad and said "I'm here for a swing party not some gay shit, right guys?" and Sacha almost laughed

So that's how he gets drunky... When I have three beers at the airport and more than five shots of Vodka on the airplane usually the stewardess kindly asks me to drink up a hot cup of tea. I also love it when there is much whisky and I can gently nap on the three available seats - lucky moi! 😇
Grabbing her at the end is priceless. Both reactions were spot on! The fact she went with it added to the flavour. She was a good sport and that made this interview.

@Unknown Soul a few people pointing that out. I'm a fan of Sacha's . the fact that he is English and is yet able to make that stereotypical dodgy impression is even more meritable.
***** I'm pretty sure Sacha said it since the voice timbre was identical. That suggests that the interviewer knew all along what was happening, which makes me very disappointed.

Melinda Green The interviewer is British so she definitely knew all about Cohen, she will know about all of his characters. Britain had basically nobody left who _didn't_ know about Cohen. He was a huge name here, potential interviewees knew who he was so the characters stopped working. That's when he was unleashed on the fresh meat of the Americans. It happened with Ali G, Borat and Bruno. This is nothing more than promo work, it's an advert. Whenever you see him being interviewed, the interviewers _all_ know it's a character. His actual interviews that *he* conducts, in character are all very real and the interviewees have no idea who he is.

She did good, many women would falter when interviewing borat. She laughed along with his jokes and got serious when asking question. For a change Sacha didn't come on top of this one.

In fact there are a few interviews of SBC where he describes scenes from Borat 2 and explains that it's all about handling the unexpected. You hope they are going to react some way, they might not.
I so love Borat. I am glad that he got away from the Communist government of Kazakhstan and got to take a trip here. Thankfully, no Gypsies stopped him as he snuck across the border.
+Gevorg Ter-Isahakyan Borat mainly speaks a mixture of hebrew, gibberish, and some russian/polish words here and there. What he said here particularly is "get out of here! get out of here! I don't care! Get out of here!" in heavily accented hebrew.

This is nice. They are just having fun. Both enjoying themselves, and Sacha is kindof playing his character with the left hand. She is a good interviewer because she is intimidated (or she gives that impression), that way she puts the focus on Borat and he becomes funnier. Some other interviewers try to play cool and be on top of Borat, that way the comedy doesn't work
Listen VERY carefully at the very very end.. When SBC goes to shake hands for the second time you can hear him say 'in his normal 'out of character' voice, "Ok Great"
This is good, especially last minute (from 6:25 onwards), and I like that at the very end you can catch a quick glimpse of him breaking out of character (kinda gives u a different perspective of him and it). 🖐
This is the only clip ive seen where the interviewer actually *listens* to Borat. Not one of his jokes is wasted on her, in fact she reacts & keeps up quicker than I do as a viewer with no pressure on my shoulders. Its like she understands that the best way to let the character shine is to just ask questions and let yourself be shocked by the answer instead of trying to be clever back.
