A great old commercial for the fairly short-lived Borden's "Milkshake in a Can."

I can still remember how delicious the canned chocolate shake was. It does take me back to the late sixties. I wish someone would reintroduce it to a new generation!

I 'll contact The Borden Dairy Co.' To see if they can bring back this classic product? It would get great reviews from today's young people as well as adults

BORDENS was big in WISCONSIN in the 1960's and 1970's, but I only remember them for the milk and ice cream

before this there was a powdered version you added to milk and shook for several minutes. This was the first version that came already mixed up. Catchy song added to its popularity!

Oh my God! I don't remember this commercial but I damn sure remember those shakes. They were sooooo good. My Uncle Lee used to keep them in the refrigerator just for me. I remember drinking my last one up until about the late '70's maybe even up until 1980. Do you mean to tell me that they no longer exist?

Do doesn't Borden's, but it doesn't stop someone from using the name to sell dairy products someplace.

Jean Shepherd, who created the popular movie, A Christmas Story about a boy who wants a bee bee gun for Christmas. His old man worked at Borden's Dairy.

Yep, remember this one from about 1965ish, l was 10 in Long Beach Ca. Probably a TV commercial in between episodes of watching Combat, The man from Uncle, Lost in space, or the like. Never forgot that jingle. Looks like Ernie from My 3 sons. Like his delayed/cued responce..."shake open and pour", and "and all shook up!" LOL!!
