That. "Hey bully, mind your own business. I did nothing wrong. Checking the terrain ahead and coming back for report. Just doing my job." Husky is made to travel ahead. Collie should be educated to treat the husky not as a sheep but as another member of the team with a different role.
Border Collies truly love their work, they aren't happy if they aren't able to do that. High energy and feeling their place in the pack is what they are all about.
Some basic herding….sheep and cattle just have to have the Border Collie stare and they move…typically they don’t get physical….but this husky didn’t respond to gentle herding, the husky asked for it! 😂
@@LMCorvinusI will find a shady cool spot and begin the song of my people until a worthy one arrives to carry me to the snowy glades of my new life. Goodbye peasant.
@@jamesmaybury7452 Clowns are too stoopid to know or care that they're being held back n have to do the course all over again. And they're fine with that just keep them away from the weed.
@@iloveplumpgrannies174meh not really. The thing is on the scale for smartness there is the category obedience. That's one of the reasons why border collies rank high and huskys low. I can guarantee you the husky is equally smart as the border collie, just a different smart. They know exactly what they are allowed and what not, they just don't care most of the time. Huskies just have a stubborn personality.
If u look closely, he overworked on the husky so that he won't repeat the mistake, husky was returning on his own but the collie booked him few times to remind him he has to obey
The border collie did a good job of correcting the husky’s behavior and the husky responded by behaving. ❤ In our house our husky corrects our corgi when she gets a bit too excited and worked up. I love watching them work together. ❤
The best part is the collie slipping it's collar in frustration to get the wayward husky... Like, "dangit! Now I have to fetch him so we can get on with our walk!"
Yeah, that's definitely the awesome part to me. That dog wasn't on a leash because he had to be. He saw it as an agreement with their boss. Could have slipped it any time, clearly.
That border collie likely understands it is supposed to be on a leash in most areas where there are humans, So gladly accepts the leash because it also does not want to go too far away from its human, however, it also definitely wanted to carry on with the lock and it realized the only way to do this is to slip the collar and drag the husky back over here, this is not the first time this border collie has done this. You don't get that good at something without practice.
That husky is the definition of "head empty, me happy" Even when he was dragged around he just smiled like he was high on something Truly know how to enjoy life
My last dog was a female husky mix, stubborn, independent and indisciplined, but how can you not love the b. Collie, looks at you asking "wath do we do now dad? I'm a go herding our stupid snow dog". (I loved my Trinity, she was a crazy snow dog)
@@rubuk1I am not a dog person, but i always loved Huskys. I never got one cause they're so much work. Cut to me living in Mexico for work rescusing 2 husky mixes that almost died, despite having 3 cats. Sneaky devils got me. I cant imagine my life w out them tho.
I had a dog that just naturally took her own leash and walked herself. She didn't have to be taught or anything. One time she even took her little brother's leash and walked him when he was a puppy. I miss her every day.
I didn’t know the breed of dog my friend had one like this and he was such a smart well behaved dog I’ve been trying to figure out what dog it was so I can get it for the homestead in our future 😂
This is often untrue. The loyalty must be gained; usually though a lot of dominance and obedience work. My perception is that 70% of people with border collies get played constantly. But my best boy was one, and I do recommend.
They herd in doggy daycare and sometimes in parks. They even herd children in families They aren't just going to stop doing what their breed is known for and reinforced for generations.
Oh, I immediately knew what was gonna happen 😅 I own a Husky and they just have plans of their own, while Border Collies are obssesive-compulsive control freaks 😂 Nice combination
@@badmoose01yeah, huskies are also intelligent dogs, but border collies still outrank them a bit. their temperaments like you mentioned are also very different, huskies are known for being stubborn or having a resistant streak. collies just need a lottt of physical and mental stimulation.
Oh they've played this game before and he tried that before and one of those border Collies got him before he could get too far and he realized resistance is futile. 🤣 I used to do the exact same thing with my border Collie and my other dogs It made them see me as some sort of magic person. 🤣
That Border Collie dropkick at 0:43 was sublime, 10/10! 🤣 But just as excellent was the husky's shock like "Alright, alright! You didn't have to do all that. I'm coming I'm coming!"
From what I understand, border collies are generally used as service dogs for this reason, they are exceptionally intelligent and very easy to train, there are other dogs with similar levels of intelligence like the husky for example. However training them is rather difficult especially to the level that you need to train a service dog
I Love them all.. but I relate more to the freedom loving scofflaw Husky dog. He is saying "dude..why you so intense? We don't need no stinking leashes"😂❤
@@kriketpraymewhat makes you think dogs can't count? Border collies know how many sheep there are in a pen, theyll be able to tell if you give them one less pat than usual. They're smart.
Typical sibling rivalry. Grabs leash ** Husky: “ stop! You’re not my mom/dad, you can’t tell me what to do!!” Collie: “ COME ON!!! NOW!! YOU’RE MAKING US LOOK UNORGANIZED!!”
