Fantastic work John!!! I wish my hands were steady enough to airbrush like you. I stumbled across your channel, and with this great first impression, I'm going to subscribe. Happy modeling!!
Hi John, Great video! This video must of taken quite a bit of time to put together. The final results are very nice! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi John, that was a outstanding build, and you have done a truly excellent build and paint finish on the Merkava, it's a pity when it is all done you will not see the interior thst well unless you take the turret off, congratulations on a job very well done, best best regards from Australia, Les
Love the merkava series and this kit looks great but I'm amazed they give you no way of showing the engine bay . Nice build of this kit . I built the hobby boss merkava 3D and tbh it left me feeling a bit flat . I must build a mk.v .
What a beautiful work!! I'm collecting 72 scale because can save much more space for display, although a lot tanks model without this scale but only with 48 or 35 scale.😢😢
@@Chris-ev7xo it’s a good question - it’s slightly too thick perhaps but went in the kit eye hook and it’s what I had. Tank cable is 1 to 1.25” thick. Or .029-.035” at 1/35. This is .039”. Blackening it also makes appear thinner. Cheers
Hiya Gavin - I would not recommend this as a first model. Good question. I would recommend the Tamiya Panzer III. This model went together very well but it's the intricacy and level of detail that might spoil your first build. Thanks for watching - cheers
l am currently in the process of building this same kit. However, l have a set of friulmodel (ATL -66) metal track-links for the Merkava Mk. 2. Also, I will be using Legends (LF 1329) IDF Droid ATMD.
Ooooh nice the metal tracks are great. I recently picked up Quick Tracks (resin) they aren't too bad. Best regards to your build. Thanks for watching - cheers
