The Uke is a Risk of Rain 2 reference. It has a chance to chain damage to near by enemies

Imagine a shock version of The Gub called The Joltz

The Kilimanjaro is a reference to Halo while the Storm Bolter is a reference to Warhammer 40k. All the other references just kinda went over my head.

Love these mod packs! So much work goes into them, you can feel the love! As someone else said, the Uke is a reference to Risk of Rain. The Ukulele is an item that grants your attacks an occasional chaining effect. The flavour text is the text you'd see upon picking up the item. The Kilimanjaro is a reference to Halo, Kilimanjaro being something the announcer would say on high kill streaks. And the flavour text of Combat Evolved. I'm hoping for some Destiny guns!

The uke is in reference to risk of rain 2's Ukelele item, The tag on it has the same as the uke. It gives the player's projectile a chance to chain lightning to other enemies! Anyways! Amazing video joltz!

It’s so nice to see a game from my childhood be kept up with and enjoyed all these years later.

In case you didnt know, the Killermanjaro at the end is a reference to the Halo series. The name comes from a medal in the game for getting 15(?, been a while since I’ve played) quick kills in a row in multiplayer. And the splash text is the title of the first game; Halo:Combat Evolved As for what the gun does…idk

Sal must dual-wield Storm Bolters so that he may subject Pandora to the righteous fury of the Emperor. Hopefully there's a Lascannon available, too.

Love that youre doing something with new content! I enjoy the farming you have been doing a lot more than base game stuff so this is refreshing and nice to see!

As someone who has played BL2.5 lately I see some similarities. Especially skill trees. Krige is actually pretty fun in 2.5, you can swap in and out of Buzz axe all the time. Expect Badass mode that is time limited. It’s a lot of fun. So you can run up, swap to gun slag, and then go back to axe for example.

just wanna stop by to say that even after all this time, you still manage to keep me interested in Borderlands after all these years. Keep on Keeping on.

I remember playing 2.5 a while ago and Storm Bolter is crazy on sal! I believe he has a perk that gives him increased damage based on mag size. It was incredible fun running around with two of them just melting everything.

It's worth knowing, that this pack is heavily built off of Borderlands 2.5 It's the one that changed the skill trees, effects of slag, all other elements , and most of the weapon parts.

This looks so fun! The balancing looks phenomenal! Mobbing looks fun, all the bosses looked fun and it’s just fresh on top of that! I know you love vanilla and will always return to that, but I would love dedicated play throughs of this :)

To anyone playing, and they use the Text Mod Loader SDK mod that lets you run text mods as an sdk, make sure you disable the text mod before closing the game otherwise bl2fix glitches out, it's very finicky about load orders.

this mod pack is insane! also the storm bolter is a 40k reference and im loving all these new items

I remember dual-wielding the storm-bolter or something similar to it in BL2.5 UVHM and shredding enemies in the peak, it was fun.

Last time I played Borderlands 2 I played the 2.5 mod and it was a ton of fun. But one of the most fun thing is the change of the elements, fire and shock DoT diminuing respectively the attack and speed in a pokemon fashion (even if less effectively), and apparently acid and slag got changed too but I couldn't notice what they did... The skill trees also comes from that mod too but I'm not sure if there's another thing about the part of the gun adding traits to the weapons, but I hope it's still there, cause Jackobs weapon were fun!

I had a dream that I was watching a Joltz BL3 playthrough and he was doing a sidequest in the Family Jewel where he had to kill jabbers with a quest gun and incendiary barrels. The quest text said "oh no, you've been given an underpowered gun to kill jabbers with. Better punch some barrels into them to do a million damage." So Joltz shoots them and it does like no damage. He melees one outside of the room through this glass pain. Then melees a barrel at it. The barrel does damage over time, but the jabber stops at like 1 hp and it's just pure silence from Joltz.

Watching this before an exam to chill a bit. Bioscience engineering Uni exams, had 2 days in a row. Didn't feel human yesterday, doing an exam and rehearsing an entire course in 1, long, painful day.

That Legendary SMG you snagged the "Storm Bolter" is a reference to Warhammer 40K where there is a weapon of the same name. It shoots massive projectiles from twin barrels so I can see why the SMG consumes 5 ammo per shot lol.

The mod definitely combined a lot of the skills of all the vault hunters together. For example this skill 13:12 is similar to Krieg’s embrace the pain skill.

What is the mod that adds the slider to adjust loot drop amounts? I can't seem to find it anywhere and i want to mess around with it for fun.

Currently playing this on a brand new character, its pretty fun, vault hunter relic is replaced with a "booster kit", the gearbox weapons are themed around the bl1 vault hunters, etc;
