I am 8:30 in, and all i have to say rn is: i would love to see another leveling playthrough of another character. If only to hear you talk shit about various things. Highlight of my days/nights tbh. The most special thing about Hide in compare to other shields are it's bonus random "parts" that affects the nova & spike damage. The Roid is calculated by standart shield parts.

If you have thumb buttons on your mouse, I highly recommend binding your action skill and melee buttons to those. It's very easy to use (at least for me) and it definitely helps with being able to strafe and melee/use your action skill easily.

52:27 You may not know, but certain grenade prefixes effect the fuse time. I don't know how they all effect fuse time, but I do know that rubberized reduces fuse time, and also that sticky has to have a fuse time, otherwise it would never stick (it would blow up before ever sticking). So often rubberized grenades spawn with a 0 fuse its sad. Congrats on the Hide of Terra! Thats an amazing find

With the community patch, the Bigg Thumper is superior to the Hide imo. I got one without farming for it by killing Diddy Mong while i was just on my way to play Hyperion Slaughter. Dropped on the 1st kill was inflammable and had 1.9 mil damage and isn't the highest it goes

You mentioned wishing for an in-game gear modifier in one of these Terra farming videos - maybe it was this one. I can't remember now. That's just a complete no brainer to me considering how important the right parts are for some stuff. Since they didn't do that, and still leave you to the mercy of RNG for some of these already hard-to-get things, I don't have much problem with the concept of farming the unique part of these legendaries/Pearls/whatever, and then using gibbed to mix and match parts we've farmed in our characters. Here, lemme grab that grounded accessory from the crappy Cradle I picked up and have 0 intention of ever using and give my Bee a tune-up. Not a perfect system, but it seems fair to the game mechanics. Farm a Pitchfork for the barrel, then strip down that Volcano in my pack that I never find myself using for the fire element and the grip I want. I get a few hours to play in a week and there's no way in hell I want to spend the kind of time they seem to want us to spend to get the exact thing I want. I've proven to myself I can kill Hyperius many freaking times and have 2 norfleets to show for it. If I want to swap out elements on one of them I won't feel too dirty about it. That's what I tell myself when I log off anyway. ;-]

I'm curious to know how the chain lightning doesn't kill you? Your shield has ~1,128k capacity, and the grenade deals 1,969k damage. Even without electric on shield bonus, that's 840k more damage than shield, and you only have 531k health. Once you factor in the 2.5x multiplier for electric on shield, it only takes 451k 'base damage' to strip your shield, leaving 1,517k excess damage - close to triple your max health, and yet I'm only seeing it deal in the realm of 116k damage to your health bar. Is all the reduction of that damage coming from the grounded prefix??? And then when you teleport to sanctuary (before you respec) it doesn't seem to do *any* damage to your health bar!!!

Got a hide of terra 6th try (without CP) wasn't perfect but still better than my love thumper Edit: killed him about 12 times now and he's dropped a head, a pitchfork and a hide (same hide as before)
