@@RemingtonSteel that's because there are only 3 shield manufacturers and at the start of the game there weren't any reli-facts or cmods other than eridian ones so it was either no reli-facts, shields or cmods or just use anything

I've done a Gaige Bandit run. It was pretty garbo, ngl, cuz Bandit has like no high damaging weapons outside of the Sawbar.

@@newtsears423 late reply to your comment, but it's probably because bandit has ammo over damage.

@@LilMcMoffettI would honestly rather have damage over ammo considering the DPS formula favors the former over the latter. Like imagine for example if you have a Jakobs pistol with 50 damage and a 5 mag and a Bandit pistol with 5 damage with a 50 mag. Despite Bandit having more ammo, it would be faster and more efficient to use the Jakobs, meaning that Bandit's balancing should have been different to prevent such occurrences from happening.

@@newtsears423 if I may add on to this but how I've been playing Borderlands, it's generally a good idea to have a high ROF and ammo capacity with a decent-sized damage stat. My opinion, however. In a similar way, it's like how I always found the Amigo Sincero to be better than the Pimpernel. But I'm also a raw damage kinda guy. Aside from that however, bandit isn't good for guns, but they're good for a slag grenade when you need it. And Roid shields, but if you use Roid shields on Krieg, people get mad.

@@LilMcMoffett Roid shields on Krieg are simply useless, since he already has enough damage with Melee skills like Silence the Voices and Buzz Axe Rampage. It's merely additive damage instead of a percentage multiplier, which is why a Flame of a Firehawk is more useful, as it activates a Fire Nova on break and provides you with a Fire Rate and Melee bonus if you have Strip the Flesh.
