Your timing revisiting BL2 is perfect! Just when I switched back after running out of content in BL3.

I love that you talk about all the little interactions with the unique effects like how pistol firerate affects buzzaxe throw speed. I've always been one who loved all the weird interactions with krieg. kinda like how if you have the right build you can make e-tech dahl assault rifles deal negative damage on critical hits, still hope that borderlands makes another super out of the blue balance patch so I can use e-tech snipers. Like imagine if a maliwan e-tech sniper gets bonus splash damage on hits and only consumed 1 ammo per shot. you could have some really unique builds with krieg or axton.

This is the first character I ever played, it took me about a year to really get into BL2 because without knowing how to build him or what guns to use, I just thought it was a ridiculously hard game. Now I have an OP10 Salvador, Gaige, and Krieg. One of my top 5 games, for sure.

I prefer a tediore mag relic for javelin because it makes the reload faster and the mag grow faster which mean faster and much higher damage chucks before waiting for stacks to decay. On the other hand javelin is the only OP10 viable build that takes full advantage of krieg's health stacking so the blood relic is a lot better for survival.

this is amazing, i really like krieg, he is my favorite and always will be, he just has a very unigue play style and character roleplay. thank you so much Joltz! also can you do a bandit only krieg? that would mean a ton to me.

Finally! I am trying to get krieg trough the op levels and really needed a guide like this! I noticed that the peak opener is so strong, but it being a late addition to the game I always thought of it as a bit "cheaty" so I try to not use it very often. Right now my worst pain is to farm the conference call, it seems to me that the most efficient way is with the handsome sorcerer but still no luck. Anyway, love your work, keep it up!

the first time i played bl2 i played krieg and used a bladed gun for a melee build , i also didn’t know what skills to use so i just went down the hellborn tree

Hey Joltz have you considered the potential of using a hide of terra with the rapier, a point in blood overdrive, and 5 in fuel the blood for the bloodbath/reaper build? I’d imagine you’d do enough melee damage to kill a lot of enemies which allows you to get fuel the blood for the multiplicative splash damage boost on weapons like the peak opener or splashed blaster

For anyone like me who hates the visual effect of the Flame of the firehawk there are great mods that remove the flash making it much easier on the eyes

Flame of the firehawk by far my favorite Build oat.

That melee build looks so fun

You can use a slag wonderlust to easily apply slag to all nearby enemies. No need to aim and shoot with the slaga.

Something that would have been sick was if you used your action skill you would have a buzz axe to use and throw in your left hand but in your right hand would be your regular weapon like an unkempt Harold but if you hold the action skill button you two hand your buzz axe like normal and beat the crap out of enemies with it

Strip the flesh does not give more FFYL time, it gives a further bonus to explosive damage while in FFYL

For the legendary torch build i didn't see the slag Orc - ogre combo.. the fire rate from the class mod plus the extra random fire rate from orc and ogre will build up insane fire rate. Everything will melt around you.. just a thought of mine..

Subbed and liked because im tired of vynilicpumas content…and yours seemed to explain thongs far better and go over multiple builds… Id like to add that i respecced and took a few of your suggestions and theyre working out far better for me than i thought: Got rid of the more melee focused skills like the buzzace duration and dmg reduction while in buzzace for the kill skills goving reload and swap speed…made a HUGE difference…and instead of(after taking bloodsplosion) going straight into the fire tree, instead went for the health regen from mania…good shit!

You're never too late for Bl2. It stands the test of time.

Joltz could we get a guide off what you do from lvl1-80 in chronological order say for example1.farm hornet2.defeat boom and bewm and farm legendary grenade mod up until lvl80 based on the build

Another tip about the Torch is that it's the best class mod for survivability... ~Also just a tiny correction: Strip the Flesh does *not* give fight for you life time, it gives 15% more explosive damage *while* in fight for your life. ~ALSO WTF THAT ONEY TAKING THE BLOODSPLOSION LIKE A CHAMP! I knew he resisted explosive damage but not that much... almost same as Pete resist corrosive/fire...

Joltz why does furl the fire not activate whem I'm playing a hellborn bloodlust legendary torch build with flame of the fire hawk, fire guns like the sawbar? It always activates bloodbath and outher kill skills of the green tree but not fuel the fire. Why is that?

Oh how ive searched and searched for a purple rarity meat class mod... Never seen one before despite the wiki saying its possible. It would go great on my "Krieg the thermonuclear bomb" build. I guess based on your inventory ( and you not owning one or any thing like it ), It could simply not exist for all I know. Is there such thing as a purple rarity meat class mod with three +6 skill bonuses?

I love the main bloodlust build but I’m not sure if I could make myself take off the fastball for the pandemic lmao. I know something like the hive would work but are there any good non launchers?
