Borderlands 2: Patched Storm - Does it suck? 

I feel like the Storm would pair well with Singularity grenades. Gather a bunch of enemies into a clump then unload with the storm while they are all clumped.

It baffles me why some Pearlescents aren't playable. Why make rare drops that are simply unplayable?

I gotta binge this channel again. Just so good. Really useful for good loadouts. Never disappoints

Still bothers me how the giant electro-ball visual effect on the Storm isn't actually tied to any splash damage, only the smaller orbs are. That would be a fitting buff to the Storm, give it a large AOE effect on top of the mini electro balls

Gaige with electric build + Legendary Catalyst + Storm = huge damage over time, and tons of fun :D

I feel like if they could decrease the spread of the orbs if would make them more effective

You've come a long way, now you just passive aggressively joke about the barrels instead of rage fueled rants about them. I might end up missing the rage over barrels though, it was pretty hilarious.

Pretty impressive with Zer0, still. I haven't done a run with it on Maya, but I did a Gaige run a few months ago and was impressed with it. Low Anarchy, WDT, EE and EB are a wicked combination with it.

This was always one of my favorite ideas for a weapon a gun that basically shot tesla grenades i always thought would have been so much fun, and im so glad its actually nice now :D

In my gaige playthrough even without WDT, this thing was a beast, it melted things and let's not even talk about getting a drunk effect with it. This thing after the patch is insane

I’d like to see you use The Elephant Gun, if it has been buffed in this patch it would be interesting to see if you find it viable.

I think the only person that could really use the Storm before the patch was Gaige. Now thanks to the patch it is (possibly) one of her best weapons alongside the Twister.

If anyone could help me, I downloaded the Filter Tool and tried running it with Java but it just opens a console window for a split second then closes. I have no idea what to do.

I REALLY like the storm. I play gaige so it does pretty well with her. I just wish the orbs would all hit.

It seems like the pimpernel should be pearlescent and the storm should be unique because of their damage capabilities

With the major buffs to the orbs I think the Storm (as demonstrated on Herl-E) performs really well against large enemies. Much like the Flakker, the random spread doesn't matter at all when used against something with a large hitbox. Another place I think the Storm could work well is against surveyors in the Peak. Weaken a loader or something to lure them in and then take the enemy and the surveyors out in a single shot if you're quick enough. (edit: I didn't watch the video all the way through, you mentioned surveyors later in the video) Definitely worth messing around with post-patch.

The strength relics always sucked for melee Zer0. With the Community Patch, is it any better than the Bone of the Ancients or they can hold their own to be situational at times?

Really wish gearbox would bring this patch to consoles

This is probably my favorite weapon with Gaige now.

TBH I think the orbs still could need a slight buff. Another 50k damage and the carpet bombing could wear down weaker enemies much quicker, proccing your kill skills to help you out with the tougher enemies of the pack.

This is my favorite sniper on Gaige now.

Sniper zero is so underrated imo if you know how to use him. Although he doesnt have the best healing capabilities, his damage is so good once you have enough CA stacks

With Gaige, is actually a terrifyingly strong generalist sniper that is one of her best weapons at low anarchy.

All orbs need to do damage and they need to be out longer gun fixed

If the orbs flew out up and away a lil bit in a fixed pattern to where they would all hit a static enemy this gun would be nearly.

I know this might sound ridiculous, but I think MAYBE you should review these snipers without Critical Ascension. All these snipers become monsters when you start stacking.

THIS is another great weapon for Gaige as well, like a lot of other sniper rifles. I would even say The Storm is top tier for Gaige, unlike other guns people insist are "great" with Gaige like The Seeker or The Wanderlust.

Yo, i dont know if they added this in the patch or not, but those floating shock orbs get amp damage from the bee

I've always found the storm very cool, just the concept of the gun! Now with the skin, I'ts one of the coolest guns in the game, In my opinion

Here's a drinking game: Whenever Luke says "that's pretty cool" take a shot. lol But in all seriousness man, I've always loved this weapon with or without the patch. Having a long-range weapon that can throw out teslas for damaging nearby enemies is a cool idea. Also Shock damage is not only great against shields, but it's the only other element besides Slag that deals consistent damage to any enemy. Neither Flesh nor Armor messes with it's damage!

Did the UCP do anything for E-Tech snipers? If so, test them out.

This gun is OP as hell on Catalyst Gaige.

The patch literally gave it a 300% boost on shock orbs and 200% boost in normal damage....

*deals over nine hundred thousand damage* yea in my mind that seems like a pretty fucking sweet ass gun for somebody who never played past like level 50

I'm kinda worried seeing the community, again, does better job than the developers themselves. They buffed SOME weapons in the final patch, and made some decent changes but left SO MANY THINGS to just rot in a pile of shit.

Try it with gaige it is 100% with the CP a top 3 weapon for gaige but with zero it’s just OK
