Years ago when Team Fortress Classic was popular "before Team Fortress 2 came out" we had a lot of grenade and rocket jumping maps made specifically for trick jumping. Anyways.. The jump in your video where you fire a rocket at the ground before you land and propel forwards and repeat to quickly cover distance without your feet touching the ground was called rocket running. Bunnyhopping requires no explosives, just air acceleration and strafing.

I can't seem to get the same amount of height he does. I gunzerk, jump, then shoot the ground but don't get much higher than when I grenade jump. I'm level 61 with 2 level 24 badabooms and a 85% sham shield. What am I doing wrong, btw I'm on xbox one.

+Altaïr The Assassin Your reply button is disabled. Characters can be converted from PC to PS3 using a couple programs. Open the character.sav in the Borderlands 2 save editor then save it as a ps3 save, then use bruteforcesavedata to encrypt the save. Then from what I heard, you can send the PS3 save to your PS4.

might sound like a stupid question, but does any badaboom work? i have a corrosive and a shock (obviously i don't use the shock, kind of pointless for rocket jumping)

I am not sure but i think you can also do a faster pogo with a diffrent method (not sure). so what you do instead of fireing both launchers at once you fier one first and then wait a bit and fire the second and just hold yore buttons. you will be able to shoot the ground more often in a small amount of time and get good speed. But i think you need a launcher wich has a Sliiiiight fier rate down so the timing works better. if you want Joltz look into it it could be fun.

+zeBluepixel It won't work as well in most situations since most ground is not perfectly flat. Plus, you're not getting much knockback per shot making it easier to mess up and fall back to the ground.

Joltzdude139 yeah the thing is it works on some ground. if it goes slightly up like on some parts of the raid on digistructs. the biggest problem i ran into was the shots came out and i was not near enough to the ground. ill test it some more. anyway great video thanks for the B.o.o.B. :)

when you do your speed runs do you use a macro for the double shot glitch? it seems to be very hard to pull that off each and every time while in the air. if you do would you mind sharing it somewhere and if not any tips on how to get better at the double shot while gunzerking but doing it like 5 times in a row

I don't use any macros. I use a controller. A couple mouse/keyboard users who rocket jump say they have to rebind their keys to make it easier. I press the fire buttons, tap reload with my thumb, and then use the same thumb to press melee. It took a bit of practice to get use to, but it feels natural now for me.

Andrew Filipski Sometimes, but not often. If I do, I have to use one thumb to hit jump, reload, and melee. It's hard to do fast.

I'm not sure. Maybe it's the frame lag on console. PC runs the game a bit better. It could also be my field of view on PC.

Hunter Master101, in theory you can fire six shots with sal. Shadow of the seraphs proc on both launchers and a double shot with a double grenade grog would be broken

There isn't much that can really compete with the Badaboom. It would have to be any white, green, blue, or purple bandit launcher.

I was seeing your treasure room rocket jump, and that got me here, I got tired because I kept falling because the stupid leviathan isn't there and can't get to that room. Joltzdude139 in about two weeks of playing Borderlands 2 I found a way to get on top of Bloodwing boss fight arena, a way to skip part of the path to Bloodwing, an out of bounds grenade jump in Bloodshot Stronghold, and an under the map glitch in ground Sanctuary

Yea. You just need to use a grog to get a drunk effect to do good jumps. I'd recommend checking my axton rocket jump montage. All characters exept for Krieg are capable of doing the jumps I do in that montage :)

I used to take the badabooms one step further and change the manufacturer to vlad because it gave like 1 more point of fire rate.

Nope. You can change the manufacturer of any weapon. By changing the code for manufacturer where you can type and delete it. ALL weapons stick and receive benefits of the manufacturer bonuses.

It's the same. I prefer explosive though since it doesn't apply a damage over time effect to yourself.

The Sham shield absorbs the splash damage of the launcher and adds rocket ammo back.
