I'm really happy to hear that you're enjoying the runs. I know a lot of people are really excited to be seeing you play it, but I had this nagging feeling of "But is he enjoying it? I'd hate for him to feel like he has to do something he dislikes because a few loud people are telling him to."
Turns out BL3 can be enjoyable when you have mods to skip all the boring dialogue, make NPCs move faster, can reroll Anoints for free and have proper farming.
Like everyone has said, im super glad youre enjoying bl3. its my personal favourite in the series minus eden 6... looking forward to more of it Would you consider an ultimate 'character name' with these mods installed

After personally coming back to this game after a few years its refreshimg to see it again. Ive been trying to focus on the gameplay and ignore the story and its actually been really fun. Hope to see more bl3 joltz😁

I have to say I’m so happy to see BL3 runs from you! I absolutely love this game(despite its… shortcomings((its story mostly))) I just think the game is a lot of fun and enjoy how many builds are viable

I actually got back into this shortly after the announcement of 4 and have been enjoying this play through. I was surprised to see how many people are still on Xbox willing to help me get back into it, and one player even said to check out your new play through for some ideas for my flak!
Fun fact: in the seer arena dropdown, the waterfall abruptly ends for no reason. Fun fact number 2: you can instantly kill the seer if your pet baits a guardian close to her and you kill that guardian with the breath of the dying, prob the fastest way to kill her consistently
Man, feels like you just started this series yesterday. Im pumped about the idea of seeing more bl3 content. The general gameplay is so good, its such a bummer its flaws are too great for most borderlands fans
Loved this whole playthough!! Only critique is I wish you would’ve tried more builds. But if it gets you to play more and put out more content to see them I am all here for it. Keep up the great work!!

I’m honestly just here for whatever you post but I am really happy to see BL3 back on the menu. It may not be the best Borderlands, but it’s certainly not the worst and it’s something fresh for you after all this time.
I was kind of sad to not see as much farming for like “more perfect gear”. I know BL3 kind of eliminated “perfect roll” farms but getting the elements and stuff would’ve been cool. I loves the playthrough joltz, keep up the good work ❤
I know I'm late on this, but you said Bounty of Blood is your favorite DLC, and I agree. Best story in all of BL3 and the soundtrack is so good as well.
I am REALLY glad you are doing more bl3, I know almost everything about bl2 thanks to 2, but when it comes to bl3, i just play it randonly not knowing the funny things you can do in this game
Now I'm thinking of finally replaying BD3 since I agree with most of the changes in the mod (No modifiers on chaos, I love it!) Anyways it was fun seeing you play BD3 after so long!
I'm just happy you are enjoying yourself. Felt like the burnout was getting a bit real on Borderlands 2 and you needed something else. If that something else is some modded BL3 so be it. (And not to jinx it, the views seem to be stable across these transitions to other games in the series, so that's a nice plus)
I feel like this game is so much more fun in co-op, me and my dad used to grind GT and we never won but it was always fun. I beat it on my own last week, I miss playing with a friend though
when BL4 finally comes out you should go through every borderlands game leading up to its official release so you can see the evolution of gameplay and story
Hello, it is I, one of maybe 2 dozen people that have more hours in TPS over 2. I'd kill for a speedrun of the game even, kind of like how he did BL2 and BL3. I'm also the creature who enjoys Pre-Sequel over 2 (never been into high level grinding/its endgame content and zero g grenade jumps are addicting) so I get passing it up since he's super into farming and grinding/having more to throw a build at.
The main thing i hated about bl3 was that rarity wasn't a thing, legendaries are handed out like blues and purples in this game and the dedicated drop/no world drops makes it seem much more enjoyable to play i might have to pick the game up on my pc just to play with it. thank you for the videos I've been watching for quite some years now and always find myself waiting for the newest video to drop!
Glad that the run was enjoyable enough to want to do more BL3 things; I genuinely do feel that BL3 is a more fun game to at the very least watch, as there's just more variety in weapons, builds, etc, that you can do. Whatever the problems with pacing and writing in the game, there's almost always something you can do to play around with something new or just some interesting approach you can take for a bit. Related to that, FL4K's purple tree may be objectively very poor, but it's honestly quite fun to play, it only for a little bit. I'd recommend giving it a try.
Hey Joltz! Really enjoyed the playthrough. I hope you try out true trials and takedowns in the next playthrough. They really push buildcrafting when you don't use guardian rank, keep it up!
A challenge run I'd LOVE to see is a Poor Man! Off-meta weapons, off-meta builds, maybe even no legendaries? I've been doing one as Moze (only having the purple pet Bear) and having a blast
I feel like BL3 has really good bones for a great borderlands game, it’s held back mainly by the lackluster story, as well as legendary items just don’t feel that special on behalf of the super high drop rates, and not enough late game stuff to do. IMO the game just seems like a cakewalk most of the time when compared to old BL games
