Definetly used the wrong word in "relevance" but a new character is imo nothing but empty hype for as long as I don't hear him talk...could be a one-time appearing boss enemy for all we know. My main problem with such teasers is the effort put into them when they usually don't have anything in common with the game apart from such superficial small bits. And I'm aware I won't find much agreement in this ultra loyal fanbase (which I respect very much) but that doesn't change my mind. I love these games as much as most of you, but I don't have that kind of fragile pride for a developer. Even the best marketing unit still practices marketing and thus views you as nothing but sheep...

Mochammad Febriananda Yeah They’re auto generated by looking at every part and giving it a specific name by looking at the: A, Manufacturer of the gun, B the part of the gun, and C the manufacturer of the part of the gun. For example if there is a Hyperion gun with a Jakobs stock it could be called a,”Ferocious Thumper” but if it was that same Hyperion gun with a Maliwan stock it could be called the,”Sleek Thumper” Once you play enough borderlands you can just see a name of the gun and know pretty much every part of the gun since all 4 parts of the gun give different stats based on its manufacturer.

I hope they can live up to the name. Borderlands 1 was really awesome back in the day. Borderlands 2 was still good, in my opinion. Both at least had more character and story to follow than some of the "new" looter shooters. So, I hope the third will not be a shitshow, with microtransactions or some other bullshit to basically kill the franchise. Here's hoping...

@@frantzley894 Do yourself a favour and get borderlands 2 GoT edition , it's frequently on steam sale for £7 or less and is absolutely worth it , minimum 30 hours play and I've sunk at least 500 hours into it and never even hit max level, i would suggest BL1 but story and combat is much slower and a bit more bland by comparison and you don;t need to play borderlands one for the story anyways since 2 tells you it pretty well

Crazy how, when I first watched this trailer back in March, it felt like it'd be forever until the game came out, and now it's literally a few hours away.
Pretty sure it was some generic dialog clip for a ton of npcs. I do feel you on that though, as the dialogue wasnt as flashy as bl2, bl1's did help it feel like a more genuine, nitty gritty world.

A Borderlands Battle Royale mode would actually make SENSE, for once. But it would have to be an extra mode, not the main game. I mean, that's basically what the Underdome missions in 1 were.

I Remember when idiots were saying this was going to be battle royal because of what was in this trailer. Like what hell? A dude took tina, brick, and mordecai high fiving as a victory dance for a win and the psycho worshipping the twins was just other players in the match. People were losing their shit and just imagined the worst possible scenario and looked too deeply in this trailer for signs it was battle royale when there was none before Randy told the world " thats not what we're doing"

Not supporting the epic launcher only means the devs that release on steam won't get that larger cut. Honestly if anything you should use the epic launcher so that steam improves overall which means it will overtake epic regardless

There have been many leaks up to this game that the channel SupMatto has covered and it supposedly exactly the same concept as BL2, however this version of the game is meant to be much darker this time around, and the main villains (the two you see in the beginning) are the Calypso Twins (which was also confirmed by Randy himself when he made a drink named as such as a cheeky tease to that leak). Also, they said that the game cannot support 4+ players as the engine isn’t able to handle that. So yeah.
The thing I find funny is that this trailer made the game feel like it was gonna be even darker than it already is (to me at least) The pure white statutes of everyone and everything against a pure black back drop The new art style and the updated character models And the music All combine together to give this an almost Cyberpunk level of bleakness and grit.

Atlas is back as a manufacturer. Gorty is back to help the player find multiple vaults in the game. Not just one vault this time. Tina is back as an adult. No word on the others but you can expect cameos from everyone like in BL2 - Writing is more like BL1 than BL2 - 4 new vault hunters - have been reworked, everyone now has multiple action skills instead of one - Flak the Beastmaster is a homeless looking android. He can summon multiple creatures to help him fight. The AI for this is what delayed announcement last October. So hopefully it's fixed now. - The woman seen in the UE4 demo last year is a Valdof character who is the gunner class. She can summon a bear mech on which other players can ride. Summons the mech like in Titanfall. No word on how this works indoors. - The older male is like Batman. He's the stealth/assassin character. He's rich and uses gadgets for his action skills. - There's a black woman Siren character. She's melee oriented like Brick was.
