Yeah it was super weird also I thought the point of these lists for each character is to highlight their strengths so putting snipers like Monocle, Crossbow, Storm and Unseen threat would really show us a FL4K list. Anyways...
@@geraldd500 No I agree, the Maggie is fantastic! But I have seen so many people commenting how shit they think it is on other vids any time the Maggie gets mentioned.. and I'm always thinking to myself like "How did you manage to even boot up the game?"
@@atlys258 it's just a Good gun It's a beast especially with fl4k who can deal increased Crits and Moze who increases the mag size and raw damage to just be good (I'm not sure how it works for the other two I don't have a full build with them)
@@geraldd500 Yea, that's for sure man. It's solid on Zane, but he doesn't really have any synergies with it. But on Amara it's pretty beast for mobbing because of Indiscriminate and her skills for adding addl. elements/how much she can crank elemental dmg, and how easily she can proc ASE anoints.
I'm glad someone finally talked about the helix. Always been a pretty big fan of it especially with flak and the 150% radiation damage while under 50% health. I actually got the best lucky drop ever for it.. well I have 2.. the other one is while action skill anointment active deal 200% and its kinetic. But my 150% radiation damage one actually shoots radiation on top of it so it does crazy damage really good for mobbing while using gamma
I figured the Hellwalker would be #1, then I realized the Monarch was not on the list yet. My FL4K build I've been using the Monarch, Flipper, Hellwalker, Maggie. It's not even fair to enemies.
I have been playing Fl4k lately with the Hellwalker. It sure is a good gun, but it is so easy to get killed because you need to get up close to the mob. On the up side a second wind is usually very easy and faster than the pet (the pet has saved me so many times). Also use the Hellwalker with Amara and find I do not go down as often due to health steal on damage delt.
Try the Dakota. It's automatic, it's spread is tighter than the Hellwalker and does as much damage. More than it lists, the random fire and shock damage is a lot more than the base damage.
@Nanoz5 On my Fl4k build I use a class mod that improves accuracy (reduces spread). Finding this is a big buff allowing more pellets to hit at mid range. Also possible to quickly change to looking down the sights for reduced spread. Do this and the adds just explode with one shot.
I'm surprised no one ever mentions the Soulrender. I've tried multiple builds and ofcourse for example, a Fl4k Hellwalker Crit build has insane dps, but the Soulrender I feel is one of the best *overall* guns where its consistantly strong in any build with the purple skulls (which crit for about a million on mayhem 10 i believe)
I just started my 1st ever FL4K build yesterday, slogging thru the story to open the Mayhem options. Now the hustle to L65 :( Good info, thanks for the great video SGZ
Recently returned to BL3 and I'm so happy The Hellwalker is actually good now. Been my favourite shotgun since I first saw one drop. Now if only they would buff some of the other shotties that are fun but weak. Most of them can't really cut it on Mayhem 10
I mean... where them snipers at? Unseen threat, headsplosion, MONOCLE, Crossbow, storm? fl4k is the best sniper in the game, i know long range combat doesn't fit borderlands but when my dude can one shot anything with snipers I thought at least an honourable mention would be worthy lol

Where are the kings/queens calls on here, can literally speed farm Hermi the invincible with them in like 30 seconds lmao, the ultimate bossing guns for flak
In my opinion robin's call is much better than hellwalker, the first reason is because robin's call refills its ammo when you hit a critical so its basically a no reload shotgun. Also its beast while using fade away, have been using it all the time and its insane
So where is the Stonethrower? It is an absolute delete enemies button if you manage to get a Masher version, on par with if not better than the Clairvoyance.
I’ve seen your video and wonder how your gun damage like x5 from mine (lv.65 mayham 10) for example Hellwalker, mine only 4xxx but you have 2xxxx or because I play on normal mode? Please answer me cause I’m so frustrate.
red and green tree. get the skills that make you do more damage while in fade away, while standing still. the red tree capstone megavore makes you have a chance to crit even if you don’t hit the crit spot. stuff like that
Well I'm looking for very specific legendary weapons. I already have Monarch and hellwalker my characters op as hell at damage. Just looking for a better pistol and smg.
so i tried star helix after watching with this video and it does almost 0 damage. what am i doing wrong? My skills are fine i think, is it some artifact or class mod or something else?
Maybe it is a low damage helix? Sometimes they have 20% or so difference in damage between the best and the worst. With fl4k getting so many bonuses, it might be the reason since the bonuses isnt so high with low dmg wpn.
I have like 3 or 4 god tier monarchs on lvl 65 on my flak. Such as consecutive hits or URad x8 and x4 with and without element. Anyone wants to trade? Searching for a redundant facepuncher with 300/90 or ase meele or a muse mod with +3 on red skill and a good role (meele dmg or splash dmg). A psychostabber with 300/90 is also aviable for trading.
Use lootplosion modifier on mayhem and use all the other methods to increase luck, whether big thing that RU-vid's don't usually mention is invest points in luck in the guardian skill tree it's more worth than other things
I've been playing this game since it first came out. I have all the downloads. I've played every character several times using different builds, mods, and skills. I've killed Killvolt at least 50 to 75 times. I have never been rewarded with the Monarch. W.T.F. ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And played on easy, normal, true vault hunter mode, with mayhem 1----10 active. Still, NOTHING. I'M SO PISSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you all have a wonderful day............................
I appreciate your work overall, but I'm disappointed in this video. Too much time selling the weapons, not enough time talking about why and how flak in particular makes good use of them. I've only been level 65 in this game for about a week and already I don't need you to sell me on why a weapon is generically good, I came here to understand a bit of nuance on how and why Flak works well with particular weapons. I think it would be good to see this subject from a different angle. You know how Flak mobs: What weapons work particularly well with his style, and why? Including other styles than Fade Away, which seems to be the only one addressed here. How does Flak boss? What makes a good weapon even better when flak is killing bosses? More clarity, less selling, would be wonderful. Like I said, it feels too much like an advert for weapons that are just generically good. But don't get me wrong, greatly appreciate the work you do! Anyway, that's my 2 etherium worth.
The flood and not the unseen threat 😂😂? Do you even flak? All jackobs guns are shit from m 2.0 and recursion/multiple projectile "fix" because people on consoles cant run the game fine like on pc( limited hardware for limited "gamers" ) and before you defend go farm any item on consoles ! And they don't fix them but give buffs to guns that nobody uses..
I have no clue why he put the flood on the list but honestly I hate the unseen threat, tried so many times to make it fit into my builds but the homing rockets are so unreliable at least for me, that the skull masher, monocle and complex root make for much better fl4k snipers
@@markblum4638 i have a urad one and it's good and it's more for bossing and big targets, it's good for mobbing to but yeah there are other options for that. Skullmasher is great for any thing. I don't like the root because of the glitch that it has. Don't use it if it's not good for you but as a gun it's powerfull and yet the flood is on the list 😂
@@robertcotnareanu7273 ah see i only tried the unseen threat with mobbing scenarios ill give it another shot. Also are the ricochet rockets enhanced with splash dmg
@@markblum4638 i guess, the thing is i use one with urad anoint and it one shots anvil mobs 2 shots for the anointed enemys so i can't say if it has spalsh bonus or not :)) but give it a try see how it works 👍 it's a must have gun even with the nerf.
