this guy dont seam to know borderlands, just as much as the film makers. tiny tina is way too tame in the trailer and shes not annoying, she is awesome in the games, one of the best things about them. handsome jack is one of the best villain's of all time.
Lilith and roland WERE playable characters in the first game, and were always very important character's in all the games. Tannis and tiny tina are side characters but they are on the more important side characters overall, so i could see why they were picked. But idk why they picked lilith and roland but not brick and mordecai. The timeline is most definitely confusing and all over the place.
It feels like even though it might be going with the first game, it also feels like its kinda sorta adding in things of like events between borderlands 1 and 2, cause I dont remember krieg in the first game and he first appeared in the 2nd game, cause most everyone from the first game when they appeared in the 2nd game already knew Tiny tina, So this is the kinda feel im getting from this so far just from the trailer.
First off, Lilith was the original Siren from the 1st game and was a playable character. 2nd off, Ariana does sort of look like Tiny Tina, but she doesn't sound like her at all. Nor was the writing done properly for her character. I don't see Tiny Tina looking at this trailor. I see someone trying to cosplay as Tiny Tina, and failing fairly badly at it. It's sounding to me that you've only played the 2nd game and not the first. I don't really have much hope for this film and I am personally debating if I'll even see it at all.

I’m obsessed with cate blanchett and she’s just an amazing Oscar winning actress. I think people need to give a chance and watch it before judging. Not sure about Jamie Lee with Tannis. But.. I think it’ll be good.
Got to erase manly white men Brick and Mordecai! And replace them with Old feminist women. Also, the casting with Lilith and Tannis isn't bad?????? IT'S HORRIBLE! Grandma Lilith and Grandma Tannis? Tiny Tina is fat and not crazy and sucks at delivering lines. I hate Claptraps voice! There is no reason to replace it when we have a voice actor already. This dumpster fire is going to flop hard.
I have so many issues with your opinion but it comes down to you don't know the storyline or characters. You video is only useful to people who never played the game.
I think the age of the characters depends on timeline of the game series, but i would break it down like this in borderlands pre sequel Moxxi is probably supposed to be like 30, lilith 20 tannis 25, tiny tina 8 roland 25. B1 Moxxi 35, lilith 25 Tannis 30, Tiny Tina 13, Roland 30, B2 Moxxi 37 lilith 27 Tannis 32 Tiny Tina 15 Roland 32 and B3 Moxxi 40 lilith 30 Tannis 35 Tiny Tina 20 Roland 35. Its a shame Kevin Hart is too short to correctly betray Roland cause he does have a Roland build and look to him just should be 6 foot 2 not 5 foot 2. To be honest Dwayne the Rock Johnson is probably your best bet here. Kreig on the hand looks spot on except we havent heard him speak yet. Yeah the Atlas outfits dont look right at all.
I just can't take Kevin Hart seriously in any action role and definitely not as Roland... Love Cate Blanchet but errrr, Lilith looks way too old (same for Curtis/Tannis). Jack Black seems okay and even Tiny Tina is passable but eeeeh, not gonna lie, a bit worried about having 2 of the main characters being this "off" after having played the games...
The characters and writing are definitely the weakest part of games. As a player it was up to you whether you liked or disliked the script and jokes. The humor was hit or miss. Reason why I'm hoping the movie can make them better and she'd a new light to them. We'll just have to wait and see. Wish they'd used Handsome Jack though. Dude was psychotic
You are one of the few reviewers willing to give this movie a chance. Yes some of the casting doesn’t reflect the game characters accurately but I for one am really looking forward to this movie. The look of the movie is great! The talent that they hired is very impressive. I just hope it does well and that there is a sequel!
Actually atlas is a character in game you but you only see the twins in 3rd game and tiny Tina was his creation/her parents you actually parent and Rolland close thing to dad lot people think Craig or Toru is her dad but not know for sure but should got rid of Craig add Mordecai or brick
Sorry but I'm going to totally disagree with the tiny Tina casting. She is nowhere near as crazy as tiny. Tina and lacks all of the charm that the game character has.
Tiny Tina is 13 years old in borderlands 2. To me that is a child. Dude get your facts straight if you're going to make a video, you didn't even Google a single thing you're talking about.
You saying Tiny Tina is annoying in the game is insane to me. If you had said that about Claptrap I could get it but not Tina. In many ways she's the heart of the game and the work Ashly Burch did to bring her to life was phenomenal. Ashly should be the one playing her in the movie. Especially since they seem to not care about getting the age of the some of the actors in anyway close to their characters.
