I really don't understand where you are misinterpereting this as me saying willhelm is a bitch or something, I know Jack poisoned him, I've played the game a million times and I played willhelm in the pre sequel I do not think he was a little overhyped bitch if that is what you are getting at. I counted a couple of other missing key lore bits but this video was still good, definitely did a better job than Playstation access which left out too much and got their facts a little...off.
Nice summary but you have forgotten a few details -The destroyer killed the Eridians -The warrior was meant to kill the destroyer -Every Scav, and bandit were either prisoners forced into slavery to work for Dahl or remenants of Dahl who went insane through exposure of Eridian ruin which are very radioactive
Also no mention of Krieg or Gaige. Gaige even has a line stating she killed Handsome Jack. I'm sure one of Krieg's phrases can possibly translate to that too.
@@peeweeherman9411 What are you talking about? Zer0 evidently has a huge impact outside of the game and probably more vault hunters, but that hasn't been revealed yet since they are the latest vault hunters (chronologically).

Yeah I totally agree. I feel like sometimes they wanna follow one story but then they want a different one. Like apparently handsome jack was a bad guy in borderlands 1 but for some reason In The pre sequel he’s good.
in borderlands 1 i dont think jack was even mentioned. in borderlands 2, he was the main villain. they wanted the presequel to be between borderlands 1 and 2, and tell the story of how Jack became evil, so in the presequel, he starts off as a nice person, but as the story continues, he slowly turns more and more ruthless.

no, ive played borderlands 1, 2 and the presequel at least ten times each, but I rarely ever listen to the audio and seldom read the subtitles as I mostly just listen to podcasts or videos while I play, so I never know the story for most games. even things from borderlands two which I have two of each character OP 8, i didn't know the last quarter of the story.
I had no idea what you were talking about when you were talking about colonel hector and the infection, did some research, they released a new DLC for borderlands 2 last month that i was entirely unaware of. You helped me discover it, and now i know what i'm doing today.
@@cerealjam I play on PC though, there is no such thing as "console generations" there, if it exists, and your computer has the specs to handle it, you can play it.
A few things that are also canon, Timothy and Aurelia (Jacks doppelganger and hammerlocks sister) are also vault hunters in the Pre-Sequel, and Krieg and Gaige (A psycho and teen tech wizard) are vault hunters during borderlands 2. Hope this helps anyone without DLCs or havent played the games as they are all canon characters!
Plague Fellow true. However they aren't part of the core game. They don't necessarily play a particular role in the storyline, just extra help. But it would be a nice touch to have them tie into the plot somehow.

A couple missing details I noticed for Borderlands 2's story: The vault hunters go to Opportunity to make a voice synthesizer to open the last door; which is password protected with Jack's voice, and having to steal explosives from the Sawtooth bandits to get to the Hyperion Info Stockade. I think that's just about all you missed.
In BL2, the vault hunters were in the train because Jack invited them to Pandora to search another vault, but he betray them exploding the train, as he did it with many more vault hunters before.

Things you kinda missed but they are small so I’ll give you a break: Sledge has the 1st piece of the vault key 2nd was krom he is never mentioned again as far as I know And baron flint is brother of Captain flint and Zane flint And I guess Dr Ned’s zombie island didn’t actually happen -borderlands 2 ending/tales while axton Mia and sal went to oasis Zer0 detours to find bassnova
Another thing, not wildly inaccurate, but he refers to the guardians as alien-vault-guardians, which while technically correct, makes it sound as though they're living beings. Guardians aren't actually living, they're simply robot guardians left behind by the eridians to protect the vaults. edit: another one I just saw: The merriff shot (and missed) Jack, attempting to kill him. That's when Jack turned around and shot back. It's a pretty big detail in Jack's turn from pseudo-hero to pure villainy.
That part about Oasis and Zer0 detouring can’t be accurate. How can Shade be in Oasis and his granddad’s museum when Zer0 was looking for Bossanova in that short amount of time?

I’ve played BL1 and BL2, by I hadn’t played the Lilith DLC for BL2, BL: Pre Sequel, or Tales from The Borderlands. This was interesting to say the least and it was helpful in preparing me for BL3 by getting me up to date on the whole story. Thanks :)
Fantastic summary of the games. Only discrepency I noted (when you were trying to point out where choices could be made in Tales) Fiona can choose to spare Felix by warning him about the bomb, so he might not be dead in the official time line (although I'm guessing 3 will only mention Felix in passing, if at all, to allow the player's choice to remain "canon")
ive played all the actual borderlands games and watched people play tales from the borderlands. right now borderlands series is my favorite games and i dont think anything will change that
So pumped for Borderlands 3! This was just the recap I needed to save me replays of everything leading up to it...though, that still might be in the cards...
I love this series, but one of the biggest problems I have is whenever you play as a siren, you’re basically treated like you’re just another random merc. They should’ve just not made it possible to be a siren or maybe made you a lesser siren or something.
I just finished the telltale game for borderlands. Probably my favourite out of all the telltale games. But I plan to buy all the borderland games to play through the story. Can't wait.
And that's why Borderlands will always be better than Destiny/Division/Anthem At it's core it's designed more like single player looter shooter with actuall story and coop added as bonus rather than beeing coop shooter with forced story and single player as a bonus.

I'm not so much focused on the lore as much as I am that he has an Emperor and is using it while he voices over Borderlands 2, which aggravates me deeply.
Wilhelm and Nisha were not vault hunters Wilhelm was a mercenary and Nisha was simply a bandit who killed other bandits they may have been CALLED vault hunters throughout the pre-sequel but thats just so they don't have to have a seperate audio clip for every single character entirely
Thank you, I have no intention on playing Tales from the Borderlands and not sure why they made it canon to the actual games. Also not sure why they thought it was smart to kill Scooter in a game that shouldn’t have even been apart of the story.
I kinda agree with you on the Scooter point, but Tales from the Borderlands was great! It was my first, and at this point my only, Tales game I've played. You should check it out!
I remember playing the original borderlands and when I needed help I went on to online co-op and when I got to the vault there was a hacker in the team who had an invisible one-shot gun

Just watching this video, you can already FEEL that Tales From The Borderlands has a different vibe than the other games. The other games are crazy and really deep in the lore, while Tales is a lot more distant from everything else and more focused on telling a simpler story. All three games are great, but personally, I prefer Tales over the other 2.
i haven't completed Borderlands 1 before, same goes to Borderlands Pre-Sequel. But thanks to that video i now know whats up and free to play Borderlands 2 last DLC before Borderlands 3. Feeling little spoiled but thats fine. :P
